Detailed NPCs is my suite of mods that equips various items to NPCs relevant to their roles (e.g., guards, mercenaries, farmers, etc.). As a result, Detailed NPCs enhances storytelling through small visual cues that provide insights (even clues!) to all the wonderful (and not so wonderful!) NPCs in game. Many of my mods can be used together to create layers of meaning.
Great mod. However, looking at the distribution file, it appears that vampires receive a random aura. It looks like Clanggedin's pack has a "Bloody Mist" aura that I think would be more appropriate for them. (This is based on the screenshots for Clangeddin's mod.)
These are so great and I've looked at them 10 times without realizing there is a combat only option. That should really be relayed in the title somehow as I think many people think it would just be too overwhelming to have the animation going constantly.
Thanks. I've updated the description on the mod page, and added a sticky about the two options.
You can also mix and match. For instance, use the combat only version here, and use the constant version for dwarven automatons. Just be sure to disable the syntax in the _DISTRI.ini in the AIO for dwarven automatons (add a semicolon (;) in front of the dwarven automaton syntax in the AIO).
Rinse and repeat for all my aura mods to achieve an assortment of constant and combat ready auras!

(a) always on (constant), and
(b) auras trigger when NPCs engage in combat
Pick one.
Can't loot it; can't even see it.
