Fantastic mod Really helps balance tons of followers like 3-5+ in modded skyrim. I like when it takes like 5+ followers and a couple of minutes just to kill a single dragon, however, I wish the penalty did not apply to the player I am barely doing 2 damage with 90% damage reductution in a party of 5..... Anyway to change this so it doesnt affect player and i can do normal damage?
I've made an edited version of this, for my personal use, which applies to followers only and not to the player. I'm hoping to get permission from babaheads to upload it for the community.
For those of you uninterested in waiting, Party Damage Control uses quests to trigger scripts based on the number of followers, which apply a debuff spell. So to remove the player from the debuff, what you do is open the Party_Damage_Control.esp in creation kit, then remove the references to the player in the Aliases tab from each quest that applies the debuff. This prevents the script from targeting the player.
I've been playing with my edited version and it works perfectly with no errors (at least not that I have encountered). I'm using TPF-DE modlist with a couple small additions.
Yeah, I'm also looking forward to having that... I've tried to look up how to work with the creation kit or how to edit those scripts, but it's really not that easy or beginner-friendly...
thanks for your MOD! It's quite useful and I wanna ask what mod it is that DISPAY your party's status? I've been searching for a while but I failed, plz tell me!
Debuffing the player kind of defeats the point of having a mod like this imo. Followers are the ones who are extremely overpowered, not the PC xD. The idea is great, I think it needs a separate slider or adjustment for the PC
I've made an edited version that does not apply to the player. I'm waiting for babaheads (creator of the original mod) to grant me permission to share my work.
The edited version would be great to use along side the magic patch for this but i would need to crank the penalty up past 95% probably 97%. I like the idea that the player still requires alot of agency in combat though.

It does. However, I've made an edited version that does not apply to the player. I'm waiting for babaheads (creator of the original mod) to grant me permission to share my work.
I'm playing with various custom followers from different mods, and it seems to work for all of them. It applies to anyone with the "player teammate" value set to true, which should be the case for most if not all followers from mods.

I'm saying that the PC being debuffed along with the followers completely misses the point.
Thanks :)
hopefully not tho
