Major update being worked on for Treerific. I think I have about 25 or so textures from ambientcg, cgbookcase, polyhaven, and sharetextures I’ll be picking from for new bark textures. I have begun the work also to start cleaning up the file structure and mesh file paths for a much cleaner looking mod. Once that is complete I will to make my own leaf and branch textures though that update will take much longer haha I will also be trying to fix all the floating trees with this update.
Thank you everyone for checking out my mod! I have been an amateur modder for about a year and half now, previously exclusively on Xbox so this is my first PC release :) I really appreciate all the great feedback! I will be working hard to fix all the issue and make improvements :) It may take me longer than others to do that though as I still have a lot to learn haha
Hail Jarl Ballin. :) Thank you for this awesome mod. Great changes happening throughout my game... wow...
Can I also use this opportunity to ask a question? See the first picture showcasing your mod on the carrousel up there? About that distant mist, I've seen some gameplays showing it as well, but I cannot get this to appear even using ENB. Is that a mod? How can you add distant fogs like that? Astounding!
Causing guaranteed CTD when approaching alvor riverwood among other places. Deleted my whole 600 modlist and started from a fresh slate because ctd issues. About only 20 mods in and testing every mod so far. Treerific causing the CTDs.
My game keeps crashing near solitude :( I really love this mod. The trees are stunning, and it doesn't kill my FPS. I downloaded the Bark Hotfix but it didn't stop the game from crashing in that area. I can never seem to get passed the bridge near solitude's farm.
I absolutely love this mod and how much it diversifies the landscape! I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction to begin learning to edit WHERE the trees are placed / how much space some of the tree models take up? Like should I be learning how to use creation kit or what? I'm pretty new to modding but have taught myself a bunch so far and am running a pretty stable 1000+ load order and want to start making it all extremely compatible. I just have so many worldspace mods that need (what looks to be simple and easy enough) minor tweaks to make it all sit tidy with this one. Thank you!
I was reading comments elsewhere & saw someone mention using creation kit for almost exactly the same thing you're wanting to do. Unfortunately I've no idea how to use it, but I figured I'd at least let you know you had the right idea :)
is it possible to do a dirty fast update extending the tree meshes further down so that there's no more floating trees anywhere? basically instead of moving them down, just make them reach the ground by extending under it
