This is exactly the kind of mod I have been looking for. Using it in concert with Kanjs Borderlands Texture Pack to turn Skyrim into a stylized masterpiece.

I've hit one small snag that I would appreciate help with. It seems like shouts, absorb effects- pretty much anything that modifies imagespace- will trigger the Night Eye filter while it's active. There isn't a transition or anything, it just -pops- to an overblown white image and then -pops- back.

I'm convinced this is something native to the ENB because even from a fresh install of all the game files, only installing this ENB and its requirements, I get the effect.

Here is a side-by-side comparison of how the screen changes when using Unrelenting Force. It stays like this for a couple of seconds then just flicks back to the normal image.

I've done some research over the weekend on what could be going on and it seems like there might be some parameter in the night eye fix that is triggering it whenever any imagespace modifiers are active. I went into Photoshop and turned half of the "nighteye.png" image hot pink to see if shouts/absorb effects would also turn hot pink- they did.

Someone was apparently experiencing something similar in PRT XII, and made a mod to try and fix it. However, this only removes a single reference to a single spell effect. I'm getting this effect for just about any spell with filters.?

At this point though, I've exhausted all of my problem-solving fuel and all I can do now is bring it to the author's attention and ask for their expertise.?? Is there a setting in the enbeffect.fx or somewhere else that can be manually adjusted so I'm not getting night eye whenever I shout? It's the only roadblock stopping me from actually going on a playthrough at this point. Please help! Thank you!

Have you found a way around this by any chance?

You have to edit few values in enbeffect.fx to get rid of the "NightEye" effect.

Here is a link to my edited enbeffect.fx that gets rid of it.  Here :)

This remind me of that one quest in oblivion, the one which your character jump into painting.

I wish I could endorse this a second time. I missed that it had updated in November and just got to the new version. Lots of little improvements and options that make it a bit fresher, and still a great alternative visual style unlike anything else around.

Just want to say thank you so much. This provides so much peaceful enjoyment for screenshots and makes Skyrim looks simply beautiful. Well done, sir, well done.

Hi L00p! I know you have been busy, but I'm curious if you have plans for Painterly ENB for the near future, perhaps more compatible weather mods and more effects or anything at all.

This is my favorite ENB for how unique it is and would love to see more of it this year:)
