This finally fixed the issue I was having with Dynamic Activation Key and using left shift to toggle actions, which would then result in walk and run being toggled as well. Thank you!
Amazing!But I really need a AE version(1.6.640). I've been using your fix for my SE version for a very long time.Now I really can't play without it!So plz!!!!
In addition,I got Skyrim Souls RE - Updated installed on my new AE game version.I tried to convert it,and all I got is a piece of s#*!,I made it all wrong!
Thank you for this fix it really helps! I still have issues however with holding shift while doing actions, where it'll basically do the same thing and keep you stuck in the walking mode. It's easier to avoid, but it'd be awesome if you or someone else knew how to fix that
Doesn't require the script extender so it works for those still on 1.5.97. I wonder how this mod is different from the mod I linked. Besides being a script extender plugin.
The skse fix was apparently already done on LE, but :

This new implemetation alex7734 made is great! And it has source code on github so we can see how exactly it works. Really awesome to finally get rid of this bug. I knew my approach with controlmap.txt wasn't the ultimative one (and worked only for menus) and just waited someone who could fix this on engine level properly. And eventually it happened. Thank you!
