ALL WHO USE CC FISHING AND HEARTHFIRE EXTENDED - AS OF 5/14/24 -
I saved my game, realizing that a patch was needed for Hearthfire Extended. First, you need to create the cellar, one addition you want, AND the aquarium addition. Then, I simply downloaded this patch after saving my game OUTSIDE of the cellar (hard save). I proceeded to close my game to desktop, closed nemesis, closed LOOT, closed Vortex. Reopened Vortex, downloaded this mod, deployed mods, opened LOOT, sorted loot order in LOOT, relaunched nemesis. I then was able to continue on the same prior save. Leave Lakeview Manor, or wherever your home is, and go directly back into it. Go down into the cellar, and it WORKS ON EXSISTING SAVES. As long as you follow how I did it, no issues or bugs. Please sticky this Mr. Mod Author, it works beautifully!
TYSM! This works (I had to clean up the floor a bit since I had a few things already built so they spilled off the shelves when the patch moved them but so what!)
This should be stickied for anyone who wants to go through these steps (rather simple and painless really, worth the effort) and not create a new save game!
So I have ccFishing, hearthfire extended and this patch. I do not know if this is related to this but I've the three hearthfire homes and populated the aquariums - full of fish... Got skeevers in the basement of one of them, took care of the skeevers and for some reason the fish are gone from the aquarium tanks. So, started putting more fish in them ... go to another home, skeevers in the basement again and guess what? Same thing.
Thank you so much! I was building Heljarchen hall and I realised that the fishing CC was conflicting with this mod. Luckly I still hadn't the cellar furnished so I followed what you did and it worked and I can continue with my save.
The mod works well for me for the most part. For some reason, my vampire character can build the vampire room with the thrall master, but can’t build the coffin to unlock the secret room. I was able to do this in the past with a different install on another computer. On my new computer with most recent play through, the coffin option isn’t in the main cellar worktable and the secret room doesn’t open. Frustrating. Any thoughts? I’ve moved Hearthfire extended and this mod up and down in my load order. Not sure what is happening. Anyone with similar experience?
Well, if you do have Hearthfire extended installed you have to use TES5edit to delete the cells that overlays with this mod.
So, first of all, if you want to give it a try and not know anything about TES5edit, check this
And you'll have to do this:
If you want to keep the other cellar mod's basement, open hearthfireextended.esp in tes5edit and navigate to: - Cell -> Block 5 -> Sub-Block 0 -> "BYOHHouse1FalkreathBasement"(for Lakeview Manor) - Cell -> Block 6 -> Sub-Block 5 -> "BYOHHouse2HjaalmarchBasement"(for Windstad Manor) - Cell -> Block 7 -> Sub-Block 5 -> "BYOHHouse3PaleBasement" (for Heljarchen Hall) Right click "BYOHHouse1XXXBasement" and click "Remove" (NOT remove filter). There will be a scary warning message, select "Yes I'm absolutely sure" and it will completely remove the basement alterations made by that mod
If you already did this and wont work, then idk :/
I was also looking for the new file. It still says in the mod's description to look for it here...
Edit: Huh, good news I guess! I was looking at the Hearthfire Extended page and the sticky post there includes this, in reference to this patch: "Note that while the mod description for that patch says a better version is available, this better version is now in the files section on that page so just download the linked mod as normal."
So it looks like the new version is actually the main file here in the files tab. (Would probably be good to update the description page lol)
"EDIT: another fella made a better version, its stickied under posts." On the main page at the very top. Most folks would go straight to the posts to check for that. Moving the patch to the files, removing the stickied post and then not mentioning that change was made is not very intuitive IMO.
All appears to be working well except that there is no option to disable the workbench and drafting table for Hearthfire Extended. The main workbench in the primary cellar no longer has this option. I can still remove workbenches in the adjoining additions (brewery, vampire, etc.) as well as in the main room, but not in the main cellar addition that the others branch off of.
Applied patch mid playthrough.. At first it looked like it didn't work.. however leaving the area for a period of time allowed the cell to reset and all is well.
After researching, and finding this fix for Hearthfire Extended mod with AE Fishing Club conflicts. I am still having issues with the area the Fish Tanks are in being walled off in Windstad. Will check Lakeview
Edit: Lakeview fully furnished with Tanks, and items. All objects for the Fishing club extended rooms were moved cept the swimming fish. Again, the wall is still walled off to get to the new area.
These are the only two Manor type player homes I have at this time to check/test.
Edit2: Adding the below file(movedaquarium_new) to a new home with nothing furnished in Windstad Manor walls off the area. Even though you are able to build the extended area at the workbench outside the home you don't have the ability to make that extended area accessible in the basement workbench. It's removed.
WORKING METHOD Edit3: OK, I got this working by doing this. If you have the Skyrim AE Fishing Club. New Manor. ?No Hearthfire Extended mod Loaded Of course these cant be loaded without the above. ?No Hearthfires Extended and Creation Club Fishing Patch OR ?No movedaquarium_new Workbench outside the Manor. Make your Extended Cellar for Fishing Club area. Leave unfurnished. Check Area Exit Manor, Save, Exit Now load any Mod. Workbench outside the Manor. Make another Extended Cellar, and Furnish.
From my new game test with my fixed version (start a new game with my file enable from start), there is no wall block the fish tank area after building it. The bat file only contain Hearthfire materials so I can easily build the need sections.
Any Hearthfire mod that edit existing building/Furniture shouldn't be use on ongoing save that already build Hearthfire related objects. Start New game with it also the best choice.
Awesome thank you @Quakes69 this worked perfectly for me. I was having an issue where only a hallway was showing up and the drafting table and carpenters bench were semi in the walls. You method totally fixed that and I didnt have to start a new game

I'll report back if i have to start over!

New Manor.
?No Hearthfire Extended mod Loaded
Of course these cant be loaded without the above.
?No Hearthfires Extended and Creation Club Fishing Patch
OR
?No movedaquarium_new
Workbench outside the Manor. Make your Extended Cellar for Fishing Club area. Leave unfurnished.
Check Area
Exit Manor, Save, Exit
Now load any Mod.
Workbench outside the Manor. Make another Extended Cellar, and Furnish.
Possible Bug:
Drafting table - Removing Cellar Workbench - Re-Enable Cellar Workbench?
From my new game test with my fixed version (start a new game with my file enable from start), there is no wall block the fish tank area after building it. The bat file only contain Hearthfire materials so I can easily build the need sections.
Worked perfect on a newly purchased Heljarchen Hall build.
