- -safe to update from 2.0 as long as you are not actually inside the mind palace
-added 24 new preset careers, these are more RP focus than the original set and most are designed for Dealing with Daedra players
-the original set was carefully balanced to all have a mix of combat, defence and utility skills. the new careers are not. likewise the value and utility of the starting gear sets are more variable, but with extra RP items
-custom careers are no longer offered during game options since people can't read the mod description, you are only prompted to design a custom career if you actually try to work it
-you must now re-do your custom career design every time you work it, but you can change the design each time
-reworked a chunk of the backend to run the character generation script immediately upon advancing age bracket in addition to when leaving the cell
-this means you will need to sit and wait for about 10 seconds if you try to progress an age bracket.
-it also means you can now advance multiple brackets with the "intelligence affects careers" option on and also fixes a few edge-case calculation bugs involving the head-trauma fate
-expert cultist has had banish daedra swapped out for summon storm atronach
-added "(Dealing with Backstories)" to the starting spell tooltips and "DwB:" to the spell names for the 98.5% of users who are getting it from a package and have no idea what is going on
-made some minor visual changes (eg. renamed the options for the stats game option from "variable/homogenized" to "min-maxed/balanced", renamed "knifeman" to "nightblade", swapped the necromancer black soul gem for a skull etc.)
-fixed a visual bug on the acquisition talent
-fixed a bug where you could randomise genetics after selecting one of the 0-cost options
-fixed a bug where the custom career skills for conjuration/destruction/illusion/lockpicking/block/heavyarmor/archery/lockpicking were flipped (ironically the only one a bug report was posted for was restoration, which was working as intended)
-uploaded new images covering the new options and fixing some typos in the existing ones
-packed the spreadsheet images and file into the mod zip for convenience. these aren't actually used by skyrim in any way

- -implemented a number of new features based on feedback
-removed the optional _noxp file. the choice for XP changes or not is now provided during character creation
-reworded the age brackets to make it clearer what you are doing
-added 3 new "general options" settings chosen immediately before the custom class creation step
-first option toggles age/intelligence between the old xp maluses/bonuses or a new float-scaling for the skill-levels gained through careers. Head trauma fate is an exception, it will always do BOTH
-when set to affect careers, the magnitude of the buffs/maluses (other than head trauma) is double that of their general XP buffes/maluses
-note that because of the way the new career-modifier option for intelligence/age works, if using this option instead of the default you will be unable to advance more than 1 age bracket (not counting childhoold/birth/formative) per visit to the mind palace.
-second option is for variable or homogenised character starting stats. homogenised increases starting magicka/health/stamina stats to 60 (base is now 20 instead of 10) but halves all stats changes from family (see below), childhood and formative years
-third option toggles between the current "diminishing returns" skills for careers and "linear", using the "adept" skill-up values for all 3 tiers. will essentially toggle between more levelups while young and more levelups while older
-several choices can now be randomised (birth, genetics, patron god and fate along with the new siblings and parent job)
-deliberately did NOT add randomisation for any of the choices based on character agency, just the features "out of their control"
-randomised genetics does NOT use genetics points, you can potentially get all above-average or all below-average
-randomised fates still requires that you actively select bad luck first since they are so punishing. randomised fates are still restricted by the same conditions as choosing fates (eg. vampires can't randomise undeath)
-added extra choices to the childhood "chapter": parents and siblings, details in the "skills and stats" image
-nerfed the "games" skill increases slightly to account for these new choices.
-added a 3rd starting power alongside remember/forget which allows you to skip all choices (other than the "general options") leading up tocoming of age start, jumping directly into progress of time mode without losing gear/resetting stats etc. but missing out on everything between the "general options" choices and your first career chocie
-added the ability for old-age characters to return to the mind palace one last time to write their will and pass on to the dreamsleeve, ready to be reborn as your next character.
-as the curtains draw closed, a eulogy will be played recounting all the major accomplishments done with that save file
-sadly I can't account for quests/accomplishments etc. added by other mods, just vanilla features, but I made this very easy to modify if you want to add things yourself
-writing a will/reading their eulogy doesn't actually DO anything, but serves as a means for you to "send off" character you finish with instead of simply never loading their save again, giving you a last review of everything you helped them accomplish
-only available as part of progress of time mode initiated while already old-aged
-the crime vice can no longer reduce skills below 1
-head trauma is now 0.75 instead of 0.5 mult
-fixed a typo in the quirks/traits image. Cooking talent is +50%, not double
-fixed the starter house door teleporting you 50m away from the actual door on exit
