Would it be possible to create a patch that: 1. Adds IDB's buffs to the Wintersun framework 2. Preserves the praying and favor function from Wintersun (biggest selling point imo for roleplaying), but nerfs or replaces the OP favor abilities (maybe even with the "once a day" powers)?
How's the testing going with the alpha patch? Something like this would be the perfect (one might say divine) experience in Requiem.
The very first patch in old files does exactly that.
The latest patch is a dead end.
I am still commited to create the full merge, but the approaches tried so far have not worked as expected and real life commitments have prevented me from sitting down and figure out how to best proceed.
I am most familliar with patching in xEdit and consider myself proficient with that.
When I try to clean up IDB blessings and effects into more manageable chunks, I fail in activating the blessings.
In IDB the blessings and it’s conditions are activated by touching a shrine, and they have a duration.
The activators in Wintersun are shrine blessings to follow a deity, prayer to update favor and with enough favor you trigger an upgrade and ability to start a superpower.
If I follow the xEdit way, it should work to dump every blessing tied to all (D)Aedra into the prayer lesser power. But that would be one long and messy thing that would be harder to, and not easier, to maintain and bug fix.
It seems that I have met a limit to my current proficiency and need to set aside time to properly understand scripting and creation kit development.
Which of course tanks my “time spent V productive results” ratio.
Hi patch is working but Nocturnal favor is too low for requiem Can you match his Follower - Vanish in the Night: little more to match requiem bounties?
This is just a straight up SSE port of this patch: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/95859?tab=description
Very little have been done with the patch to fix any remaining issues. I am working on a different take on the patch, but that will be released as a standalone.
This mod is a straight up update of Segs patch and it removes Requiem blessings in favor of Wintersun. To avoid power creep and keep it consistent. See link to original patch by Seg and read description.

Which means that IRL issues creep in.
Can you do Sacrosanct too?
Best as in roleplay best.
