Hey are you still around? I always loved your mod, just for the attention to detail.
I recently installed the "More Feminine/Masculine Argonian Textures" by MONSTERaider and unfortunately, small bits of your texture really stick out when used in conjunction with said mod. Mainly the scales on the straight and curled horns.
Could you imagine making a replacing version with the scale texture from MONSTERaiders mod?
Yes I am still around, however I no longer make new mods for Skyrim because I am no longer playing it (well I havent really played it in many years) I tend to make new mods for games I am playing at the time because that is how all my mods start private mods for myself I found I needed while playing the game.
I assume he would have to then be including his own horn textures with his mod? If so it would be a great and simpler way to start learning to edit textures, if not then your going to have those issues anyways since mine use vanilla scales.
Thanks for the port nivea. I have some questions: 1. What compression did you use for these textures ? (and the ones for the oldrim version too) 2. Did you use uncompressed textures to improve the quality? if not, how ?
1. DXT5 with alpha as they are "hair" textures so they require a alpha. No need to mess with the compression so they are just like the normal Skyrim, since there would be no benefit in it.
2. I dont understand this question. I took high res horn textures from around the web, rehashed them and drew some myself by hand. I didnt use any "uncompressed" stuff at all since its mostly new hand made textures.
Also before anyone says anything YES I am aware of the "new" FO4 texture compression stuff but this mod would see little to no benefit from it.
I was asked to post these, even though they are the same as normal Skyrim versions. So I did, since I see no issues and since they use the same exact texture format in SSE. This mod is a "as is" thing unless someone finds a bug, I dont even know if I have the .psd files anymore since I had a computer crash after I made these years ago. ):
