Could you add a second version that has similar/slightly raised base stats compared to vanilla guard armor? I realize this is probably a niche situation, but I use this armor on Jesper the Guard along with the Wooden Shield for immersion and also to distinguish him from other guards. It would be nice, though technically this stronger stat armor does him well when we're going on dungeon crawls.
I don't have Skyrim installed atm, and I'm not sure when I'll come back to it. That said if you want the stats increased, that's kind of easy to do. Just use the Creation Kit or SSEEdit to increase the armor values. The latter will probably be the easiest and quickest way to get the job done, as you wouldn't need to go searching for the forms to adjust the stats on. I can probably whip up a quick tutorial tomorrow (or later today, I'm up way too late) if you need one. This assumes you are using the mod on PC though.
The armor is found under the steel crafting list and is called "Traveler Armor", etc. in the menu. To temper any of the items, you do not need any perks, and will only need leather.
If it doesn't show up for you, make sure the plugin is activated.
