    December 2023 - Updates
    An ESL copy has been added, created with the latest Creation Kit. Not recommended for earlier copies of Skyrim. If you experience issues let me know. This ESL copy is more or less the same feature wise as 1.3A. 

    1.3A is now categorized as the main file, however the earlier files will remain as optional files as I have changed the designs between each version and you may have a preference on a design. 

    Xbox One Ports
    Basspainter has full permission to host 1.0.
    I will host 1.3A at a later stage.

    Just an FYI, if you haven't updated to the latest version of Skyrim (1.6.1130), the ESL version probably won't work as the hut doesn't show up at all.  The 1.3A version will still work.

      I have also uploaded 1.3C now which marks the file as ESL + compacted forms using xEdit and should hopefully be compatible for anyone playing on older versions 🙂 However it is untested, so if anyone has any problems let me know!

    I love the additions you've made, such as the outdoor clutter for wood storage and all the interior changes you've made with additional features and storage. This is an awesome little home! <3

    Just FYI, I no longer use Capital Windhelm Expansion (which worked fine with the Mage Hut). I'm now using Windhelm Docks Pathways (along with GKB Waves Reborn) and both of those work fine with the Mage Hut. In fact, the steps for the Docks Pathways are behind the Mage Hut and make it easily accessible with no incompatibilities.

    Beautiful little home with a number of features. I like the location on the shore near the docks which is just outside of Windhelm but close enough to travel into the city. I'm using it with Capital Windhelm Expansion which adds an eastern gate and this makes the Mage Hut easily accessible from another direction. I especially like the soul gem lanterns which give the hut a very mage-y vibe.  

    I'm running into an issue with just one of the activators (the others work fine!) - the fireplace. I tested on a new game using ASLAL (Windhelm Docks start) without other mods. Is the activator located in the fireplace itself or somewhere else and I've just missed seeing it?

    I'm using Mod Organizer 2 and have no problems with the download or installation itself.

    Thank you for creating such a lovely little home. I love small, cozy homes like this one.

      The activator is the pile of wood by the door, but I will take another look at it as I saw someone else had an issue with the fire in particular!

      My apologies. I just missed the activator. I clicked on the wood pile by the door and it works perfectly! All the activators work fine for me. Thank you. :)

    Hi,

    Loving the aesthetic of the house so far. The location on the outskirts of the docks is a really good fit for the home, and the interior itself is modest!

    However, I am running into issues with the activators. I tested on a new game, using ASLAL (with the Windhelm docks start option), and the fireplace, journal, or enchanting tome do nothing when activated. Is this something on my end? I can have a look in xEdit if need be.

      I will upload a hotfix as I think I may have packed the scripts incorrectly (Instead of Scripts > Source, I put it as Source > Scripts to match with SSE's Structure but it may have broken the activators)

      Edit: I have replaced 1.2A with the new file that hopefully fixes the scripts

    Make vortex download nvm

      is the download still broken with vortex?i will take another look, as maybe its the way I structure the file when I zip it

      I tried downloading both files with vortex and they work, can you please show me a screenshot of the issue so I can see what is going on?

    Just a heads up! Downloaded the update of 1.1 and I got an error through Vortex saying that it was "For the wrong game' stating that it was either for Fall out 3 or for Skyrim 2011. Not sure what was up with that.

      I ported it but I must have uploaded the wrong ZIP file ;o;

      EDIT: I ported it, repacked the BSA and uploaded it now. Hopefully it works!
