I just wanna put this out here. This is probably the most surprising music mod I have ever tried in all my 8 years of playing skyrim. The Celestial Aeon project really done it here and I don't think it's getting the praise it deserves.
The reason I'm posting this, is because the music here really moved me. The kind when you hear, you just stop what you are downing then just be at awe and in trance by the music. There is this one track that specifically played in whiterun, that really captured me. It's not exactly an original track, no. It's a version based of the original Whiterun city track The streets of whiterun. It's a really soothing cover of the real Jeremy Soule track with some soft relaxing guitar plucking that just sounds perfect it knock you back on the back of your seat.. You just have to hear it. I often get bored with the vanilla soundtrack by just how repetitive it can be but this track really turns it around in my opinion.
And that is just one of the tracks the mod surprises you with. The fact that it reimagines some of the original soundtrack is really refreshing. Hands down great work has been done here and I hope this gets noticed more.
Thank you so much for your kind and overwhelming feedback <3 That's more than a musician can hope for and is exactly the "goal" one can try to reach whenever producing music - that at least one listener would get that experience. I appreciate it so much you took the time to write and share it, thank you!
All music in this pack is louder than the vanilla music, which makes running this together with vanilla impractical.
Given that there are tools to batch-adjust the volume of soundfiles with just a single mouseclick, there is no excuse for the creator of this pack to not have made the needed adjustments. It's literarily one minute of work.
Since the creator couldn't be bothered to spent a minute on this, i cannot be bothered to do so either. I'll just remove the pack from my setup.
thanks for this not only is the music good I CAN also add more music since I was making a music list already. This need way more endorsements it a good music replacer compared to the other mods imo
I must say these websites are becoming more and more annoying, trying to grab as much user data as they can. For real, spotify won't even let me listen to the samples without signing in first, how stupid that is?
These days sadly content id tags can come outside of musician's control. Some of the tunes are in content id, some are not. Should be twitch safe though and none of the tunes should cause other than possible ad injections.
The track from IWD - Kuldahar was so nostalgic I just stopped playing to listen. I also enjoyed the ES theme with gentle instruments. More review to come..
