This mod was created due to a request in r/skyrimmods.
Highlights nearby enemies for better visibility using the Detect Life spell effect. Works on all targets, including mechs and undead. Comes in two versions: one with an MCM for adjusting a couple options (requires MCM Helper) and one with no MCM. The adjustable options are:
With version 2.0 an alternative, more subtle version of the effect was added, utilizing the Vigilant head swirl art from the Dawnguard expansion. This version of the mod requires Spell Perk Item Distributor to function. The size of the effect can be chosen during installation. The MCM version comes with the same options as the original version except for the detection range, because the range of the effect is essentially limitless. However unlike the original, this version respects line of sight, and you won't be able to detect enemies through walls. The MCM version of the alternative requires MCM Helper too of course.

Compatibility:
Original version utilises the vanilla hit effect shaders for detect life, so any mod altering those will also change how the highlights look.

- Detection range: how far enemies are highlighted (in feet).
- Enemies only: whether the mod highlights only hostile or all targets.
- Enable: turns the highlight effect on and off.
- Enable Hotkey: allows the binding of a hotkey to quickly toggle the effect on and off.
