This is exactly what I'm looking for and will download it once I get a chance. Is there any possibility to adding the skyforge steel and benefit to all of the ores?
Just a FYI, (OK so it's been quite a while since I actually finished / Joined companions in a play through, but from memory) You could forge the Sky Forge weapons and Wolf Armours for yourself after Completing the quest line (becoming Harbinger of The Companions), and once you are a part of the Circle you can already purchase Wolf Armours from Eorland Grey-Mane, and he gives you a Free Sky Forge weapon.
If you knew that already then I guess this mod was so you could do this at a level where forging them yourself is of an actual benefit?
After you finish Companions Questline you can make Nord Hero Weapons and Ancient Nord Armor at the Skyforge, Wolf Armor and Skyforge Steel Remains uncraftable. The reason to why I wanted them to be crafted was: 1) To make it possible to make steel weapons with the qualities that the skyforge is by lore supposed to imbue them with 2) I like dual-wielding characers, so one skyforge steel weapon from Eorlund wasn't enough 3) It's much more fun(and cheaper) to craft your own wolf armor than to buy a complete set from Eorlund
A secondary benefit, from an RPG perspective a least but useless to non-role-players, is that the knowledge of forging Skyforge weapons doesn't get lost after Eorlund dies (for whatever reason). So I appreciate what this mod accomplishes.
The Vanilla version doesn't seem to address this issue AFAIK (i.e. the impact of the loss of this unique skill, apart from the dialogue options for his widow and Adrianne Avenicci), unless that was the idea and they never fleshed it out for the game, IMHO. Still, it would've been a nice touch if one of the final quests before he died was to learn his unique skill, or at least help Adrianne (or one of the companions) learn it so the knowledge wouldn't be lost.
