Couldn't it cost the money (much) that you have to put aside to pay the otolaryngologist? No money: The dragonborn is quite worried and tries to limit the shouting.
Thank you so much for this dude, I've been looking for something like it for a long time. Since release really. Shouts are such a cool concept and mechanic ruined (IMO) by boring cooldowns. Something like this is what I hoped it would be back when the game originally released.
Does this work with both SE and AE versions of the game ?
Would it be possible to make a "stamina and magicka" mixed version ?
In the event that you you are using a "mixed" version, if you for example don't have enough magicka for the cost but enough health or stamina to make up for it, does it take what it couldn't from your magicka from your other pools, or does it go into cooldown ?
I think I could fairly easily make a mixed stamina and magicka version, but you may have to wait a few days for it, currently on a hiatus from modding Skyrim.
As for your last question, I actually do not know. I've never tried that version of the mod myself, I'll have to investigate myself.
So I looked into the mixed version, and from my experience, It seems like it goes into cooldown, with the cooldown time depending on how much was missing from the pool that was lacking at the time.
I think that I'm okay with this actually since the mod is so lightweight for what is does, that if changing that makes it need more scripts or something, I would leave it as is. Considering the fact using the triple mixed one essentially lets you use the shouts for a third of the cost(kinda sorta, you get what I mean haha), needing to keep track of multiple attributes to prevent a cooldown is a fair balance IMO
Of course, mods being how they are, maybe something is changing that behavior and it could be different for someone with a different list. Probably not, but if you want to confirm for yourself as well, I understand.
Anyway, been having a lot of fun with this mod, so thanks again. Stay safe.
I've uploaded a version of the mod with all possibilities of mixed attribute usage. I only tested one myself, however, and briefly, so if there's any issues let me know.
Dude, you are the best. Thank you for taking the time, seriously.
I've been spreading the word where I can about this mod, it legit has breathed new life into the game for me, as someone who loves the shout mechanic but hated that it was balanced by cooldown.
Fucking awesome concept my dude. I was looking for a lore friendly alternative to the crappy "cuz gameplay" coolodown and this seems perfect. Thanks for making shouts viable. :D

Hope I made that least question clear enough lol
Thanks again !

Take your time, no worries.
I'll look into the mixed version next time I get the chance to hop into Skyrim
