I can't plant the spriggan sap. The taproot plant works fine.

I recommend using the scripts Dino's Snippets to populate the seed/tree Form Lists.  Prevents conflicts.
I just made 4 different mods which do it.

How do you get them (besides placeatme?)?...do they drop as loot etc?

There’s places designated for planting. You plant a taproot or spriggan sap and in 3 days it will turn into a harvestable plant. They’re in the greenhouse section of built houses or if you have the anniversary edition they are in bloodchill manor and goldenhills plantation. There might be more but those are the ones I’ve found and there’s probably house mods that have them. Hope this helps.

Thank you...I just tested for the taproot/spriggan sap at Skyfall Estate (best house mod ever?) and it is not coded for them...but I have the mods for the Hearthfire homes that add pools/gardens etc so I can use those even before I spend time/resources building...

I just added to the planter function so it shouldn’t be specific to any house. If you can get it to work at another location then the person who made skyfall might have coded it from scratch I suppose? In which case there’s not really anything I could do.

May be a load order or conflict with complete alchemy & cooking...just not seeing option to plant...Skyfall Estate, Lakeview Avant Garde...etc...have not built the "vanilla" planters for Lakeview...
anybody else running complete alchemy and cooking AND this mod have it working?

I can place the "trees" and harvest them, but they do not seem to refresh (I placed some in the yard outside a home)

a rooted spriggan to farm (baby groot, but spriggan, i guess would be the way to say it?) would look better, but for a quick throw together / no custom asset method, this isgreat

Yeah I unfortunately haven’t figured out custom models so when I saw the spriggan corpses were an option I figured I’d just throw this together. Definitely the smallest mod I’ve ever made.

    Mod needs more details.

    Are the sprigans friendly?
Can they be used as followers?
Can they be used to patrol your home for safety?

That would be usefull to know. I most want the Sprigan guards, that would be awesome. I'd leave a few arround Lakeview Manor

Not actual spriggans. Just plants that grow spriggan drops

Could have must spawned spriggans, I would have used them to farm skills and exp
