What about the beggar woman in Windhelm ? She sounds quite old to me, and even says something like "spare a coin for an old woman". SIlda the Unseen I think is her name. Thx for the mod, I love the little adjustments and tweaks that make everything more consistant !
This. I have a mod that occasionally gives me the option to change my character as time moves on. Would be cool to eventually turn him into an old veteran.
I can't. My mod uses whatever textures you have installed and providing my own set of textures for older people will introduce whole another level of incompatibilities that I don't want to deal with. Sadly, it's a common issue with female appearance mods: normal maps are much smoother than they should be.
Maybe try deleting or hiding your \textures\actors\character\femaleold folder, see how it looks like?
I'd argue against using this for the elves. While I'm not super up on all the lore and details of The Elder Scrolls, I've seen that elves consistently - throughout Morrowind to Skyrim - don't rally look their age. They have longer lifespans and as far as I noticed, they never enter the "shriveled plume" phase of aging. Maybe I'm wrong, but it just doesn't feel right. I don't remember a single elven character in Skyrim to have said looks.
Otherwise, thanks for fixing these inconsistencies!
Yeah, I agree, the average lifespan of Mer in Elder Scrolls lore is about 200-300 yrs old. 200 being old and 300 being REALLY old. Not to mention that mer that use magic can live as long as 1,000 years old. For example, the snow elf Knight Paladin Gelebor is over 4,000 years old and he doesn't look that old due to being a magic user most likely. Definitely this mod makes human npc's much more realistic in appearance if they're old though
That's a good point about elves, but, sadly, I didn't find any reliable information regarding their aged looks. Fact that the games can contradict themselves doesn't help either, so feel free to point me in the right direction.
This gave some rough approximations of the lifespans of each race: https://gamerant.com/the-elder-scrolls-races-lifespans/
Basically, for elves who don't use powerful magic, their average life span would be 200-300 years old. 200 & 300 being elderly, and 100 being middle aged (like for humans being in your 50's or early 60's). Altmer have an additional 100 years on other elves though, so their average lifespan is about 300-400 years old. Magic is supposed to help not only keep elves alive for longer, but also extend their youthful appearance. So Neloth, despite being over 200 years old, most likely wouldn't look that old canonically as he is a very powerful magic user. The same would apply to Calcelmo: he is an elder Altmer, so he's most likely between 300-400 years old, but he'd look a bit younger than usual because he is a powerful wizard. An elf that would look old would be one who doesn't use powerful magic, like Faendal or that Malur guy from winterhold. Magic: longer life, looks younger. No Magic or Weak Magic: Average Lifespan, ages normally.

Or can you update the other mod called Modest Elderly? and if possible adding the above mentioned mod as well?

I wasn't aware there were any mods with that functional, so it seemed unnecessary to me to change their race too.
