Changelogs
Version 1.2.2
Optimized for inn-keeper's dialogue conditions. The inn-keeper you payed for a room no longer needs to own the inn.
Version 1.2.1
Besides the innkeeper, your housecarl will also open you the cloud storage in dialog. The storage document will work for containers under your roof exclusively(not for followers anymore).
Version 1.2
Combine two versions. Now the house cloud storages are linked by a 'Storage Document'. Read the description for details.
Version 1.1
Standard version - Besides the PlayerChests, now the safes (like in Archmage quarter) and small chest (like in Severin Manor) will open the cloud storage as long as you own the cell firstly. Lite version - The dialogue condition has been optimized. Now you again need to rent a room before opening your cloud storage container in inn --- I don't want to break the immersion afterall.
Description So long I have been troubled with the absence of public container in my adventure lives in Skyrim. Many excellent mods such as ones listed above made their great efforts to implement this idea of 'cloud storage'. However in my opinion, they all have not met my full demand and the ideal storage opinion in my mind. So I made one for myself trying to integrate some of the advantages of these mods together.
Considering people usually begin their adventure from a local inn and then end up this journey at their player houses, and during this process there are tons of items, potions, gems or miscs items to be stored, a useful cloud storage function which links the inns and playerhouses is introduced.
Main Function A cloud storage(container) linking all inns and playerhouses has been introduced, there are two different ways of getting you access to this cloud storage:
Standard version 1. Each time you RENT A ROOM IN INN, the inn keeper will open the 'cloud storage' option in dialogue, which would of course cost you 10 coins beforehand and will last for one day. After version 1.2.1, speaking with your housecarl(even a potential one) in your OWNED HOUSE will also give you this dialog option. 2. Once you OWN A HOUSE, you can craft 'Storage Document' at TanningRack. Putting it into any container under your roof will give you the option to open your 'cloud storage', which is exactly the same one you could open in inns.
Lite Version - no lite version anymore, the function is included in standard version a. Each time you RENT A ROOM IN INN, the inn keeper will open the 'cloud storage' option in dialogue, which would of course cost you 10 coins beforehand and will last for one day.(same as standard version now) b. Once you OWN A HOUSE, you can just speak withyour housecarl, married partner or follower under the roof, he/she will open you the cloud storage container, which is the exactly same one you could open in inns.
Simple enough.
Note 1) Inn storage checks 'renting room' action by utilizing the 'variable09' in game instead of faction conditions or keywords, so it should be compatible with any inn keepers added by mods as long as they are supplying sleeping service. 2) The PlayerHouseChest "Chest" [CONT:000F3923] usually exsit in vanilla player houses and commonly been used in many modded homes. Any interaction with this kind of chest will give you the option of cloud storage. But remember that not all the player houses have this chest. In the 1.1 version, safes and more chests are included. 3) yes I can add this function to horse....but I just chose not to in version 1.0. Lets see in the furture.
