you can use CC content, i only play in VR and its as easy as downloading the CC content you want from the other version of skyrim and renaming the file to be .esm instead of .esl and it should work. I literally just did this to a few mods.
It didn't work for me either, but the patch above works with Enhanced Landscapes even though I don't have Enhanced Landscapes installed. Well it works now.
Odd request perhaps, but is it possible to make a version that is independent of the "Quaint Raven Rock" mod as long as it's loaded later in the load order? It seems that depending on which version you play in, you might not have the entrance available even without any mods?. In my case I imported the AE stuff into Skyrim VR. I managed to solve it by no-clipping with TCL on my behalf. There's a similar issue with the entrance to Bloodchill Manor but it might be due to the Inigo mod.
