I had some sort of bug with the base Survival mode where I somehow had it active, so I go to turn it off in the settings, yet it couldn't be turned off and my character was still getting hungry and tired. I installed the "Remove Permanently" version of this mod, and while it did get rid of most of the Survival elements, I still have to rest in a bed to level up. Anybody experienced this and know of a solution so I don't have to dump the character entirely?
Is it possible that the newest skyrim version broke the survival mode setting? I can turn it off in the settings and the survival mode is still active... Also the permanent remove version of this mod doesnt remove the option from the settings anymore. Anyone else with the same issues?
I have the same problem. I turned survival mode off but it's still ON. And when i install pernament version of this mod i don't have Difficult Option in my Options Menu :/ Any ideas what is going on?
Correct. From my testing of the permanent removal file, this indeed now correctly removes the Survival Mode toggle in Gameplay options when the above SkyUI patch is installed.
Note: Not needed if SkyUI isnt part of your load order. But i guess thats almost always the case.

My current workaround is to set a global variable to 0 with the console, which at least disables survival mode visually for me: set Survival_ModeToggle to 0
However there is also a Survival_ModeEnabled flag also… no idea why this similar variable exists. Therefore the command above might not be enough to turn off everything related to survival mode.
Also keep in mind to restart the game after saving the variable change from above. Otherwise Fast Travel will not work.
Does it work for mid game saves ? Because I have a problem where the survival option doesn't show in my settings and i'm kinda borred of playing normal, but i can't change it to survival. And another question is that does it works with alternate start ?

Wish they would just leave the game alone and not update it anymore, just messes with peoples mods for no reason.
