hello! love this mod, absolutely a must-have! thank you for sharing it with us here on the nexus!
I have kind of a weird little situation - I recently switched from the Steam version of the game to the GOG version, did not change anything else, no changes to load order/no new mods/nothing, and curiously whenever I plant aloe I end up with a soul tomato plant. as far as I have been able to tell from testing planting other items, this is the only thing that's been affected by switching game versions - everything was working as intended on the Steam version, and nothing is overwriting this mod. no big deal if there's not a solution to this (the mod overall is fantastic and I've had no issues with it otherwise), but is there something I need to do for the GOG version of the game so that it recognizes planting aloe should grow aloe rather than the soul tomato?
Unfortuantly not. There is too much conflicting information how you would get a mod with assests to work on PS4 and I'd rather not have the headache of trying to patch somethign that requires a third party method of upload for assets.
Just letting ya know that this mod won't work with Hearthfire Extended enabled. Another mod creator made a patch for a different growable plants mod by merging the form id lists, afaik, if that helps.
Thats correct -As per this mods description it will not work with any mod that adds new plantables. As per the Hearthfrie Extended Description is adds:
More Plantables Plant Jarrin root and food and ingredients from the Dragonborn and Dawnguard DLCs in the hearthfire planters.
I'm leaving this as a heads-up for anyone else who might bump into the same issue I did (or maybe me, next year, when the same thing happens again). This mod has a conflict with the "Bruma Curios Goblins Patch.esp" from "Rare Curios - BS Bruma Synergy Patch". Specifically, there are conflicting changes to the planter (flPlanterPlantableItem) that probably would have been obvious to me if I'd read the description better. The differences are kinda extensive and defy a simple patch.
LOOT was ordering that esp directly below this one, pretty much obliterating everything this mod was trying to accomplish. I added a rule in LOOT to ensure this one loaded after that one, which quite possibly makes that one pointless, now. That one was a bit of an edge case so, the greater good, etc.
I've been having an unusual problem: I can plant all the stuff this mod makes plantable, but none of the crops ever grow. Either that, or the growth timer is so long, they never progress. I have no idea what is causing this and have not seen any other reports of this issue. I am not using CACO, nor any other mod that alters the formlists to my knowledge, but I can provide my modlist if required.
EDIT: Never mind, the problem somehow fixed itself. I uninstalled and reinstalled the mod... twice, because it didn't work the first time. I guess Skyrim is just Like That sometimes.
Nothing bad about it. Complete Cooking Overhaul has massive amounts of changes and I do not use that mod. Secondly the "free version" of AE is not "AE" its free creations which has a compatible mod made by me. Please read the description.
Love this stoneflower but for some reason in my game the lower leaves texture is missing. I am on xbox so I was curious if you knew what the texture was that might be clashing with it?
Hi there, same here, I play on XB and the leaves are not showing as green, but as the missing texture base colour...it almost works since the stoneflower is violet but unfortunately, they look very square. \ I love all the other changes tho, seriously finally some proper garlic in this game!
In an old modlist, I fixed a problem of plants not growing properly. It now happened again in a new modlist while I was updating all mods.
Gleamblossom for example turning into yellow mountain flower. I double checked all mods and Formlists, resolved conflicts, hid any mod that added FLM list and still had the issue with an updated esl patch of all mods that modify the plantable list ensuring any mirrored lists match each other.
Then I remembered hiding the script for this mod as it conflicts with the script from USSEP. With the script hidden, I tested with only my patches as well as rengaged all mods with FLMs and everything works fine.
So I may conclude that the script you have packed with this mod is likely not working well with other mods that require it such as CACO. I know you do not use CACO, however to help others it maybe helpful to state inthe mod description that it contains a script that is not compatible with USSEP.
I dont know what you changed in the script and I do not know if they are the same script. But after I disabled it, it removed a delay I was noticing when planting non vanila items. This delay lasted 7seconds. Now within the moment I plant such items, about 2or 3 seconds shows the notification that they have been planted.
Same here,I found if I plant the things from other mods, I will get diffrent plants or ingrediants🥹🥹,such as: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/126609 purple carrot>>gourd(vanilla) https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/90824 gourd04>> blood grass(3DNPC) https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/29194 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/103559 Bear's Paw>>gourd(vanilla) I checked in SSEDIT,and didn't found any conflicts I tried hiding the script for this mod, still not work. If i disabled this mod,it will be ok.The plant from mods above will have right ingrediants. anyone have idea?🥹🥹
Firstly the mod is compatible with USSEP - I've used both for years without issues.
Secondly as per the description:
Not compatible with any mod that alters the Form lists or adds other growable plants such as:
More Growable Plants Complete Alchemy Cooking Overhaul
That you are tyring to use CACO and this mod together is likly the issue you are running into. Any mod that adds new growable plants and edits the form lists will conflict with this mod. I can not make this clearer than the description, the pinned note and the hundreds of comments previosuly responded to.
Any chance for a patch with Grazman's Better Harvesting? Also can anyone do a replacer for the garlic plant to use the leek plant model? Garlic plant actually looks more like that.

If you are only using Saints&Seducers/Rare Curio's please see this mod: Saints & Seducers - Growable Plants

thank you so much again for all your hard work!!
that is mostly for PC users with the 1.6.1130+ versions of the game
