I love the overall look and body, legs, boots, gloves, of this armor set, however the placement of the gold on the helmet makes the helmet look strange... the geometry looks great the gold placement just makes it look odd. Any plans to re-color?
It does not. You can try and change it in SSEEdit. I figured out the names it uses for Glass Armor. Glass Armor looks unimmersive but I like the regular Elven armor especially after I downloaded a mod that makes them look shiny and cool. To start, I went to Elven Defender plugin in SSEEdit and went through Skyrim's Thalmor Leveled items in Leveled Items menu of Skyrim.
I went to SSEEdit and checked Leveled List in Leveled Item for Thalmor. Found it is LItemThalmorArmor....with and without helmet. Opened it and saw some reference Glass Armor. It says reference "SublistThalmorGlassArmor...." for the ones it gives Glass armor. That's also in Leveled Item menu. I created a new plugin for Elven Defender. In SSEEdit, I pretty much just highlighted everything except "File Header." I right clicked. I went to "Deep Copy (with overwriting)." I put save to New File. Named it "New Thalmor Armor." I went to the Skyrim lists. Went to Leveled Items. Highlighted both SublistThalmorGlassArmor with and without helmet. Same as before. Deep Copy with overwriting, but this time I sent it to "New Thalmor Armor." I went into both "SublistThalmorGlassArmor...." in the plugin I created. Make sure the changes are in the new plugin and not on the Skyrim's. You can jack some things up pretty bad. If you messed up, just make sure you don't put a checkmark on Skyrim when you exit. Opened each suplist on the new plugin. Change the Glass Armors for the Elven Defender. It uses Editor ID name in Armors. So for example, I changed "ArmorGlassGauntlets 'Glass Gauntlets'" for "01Gloves 'Elven Defender Gauntlets.'" Mod author conveniently put 01 so it's at the top of the list. Easy to find. After you're done with the changes. Exit and make sure it saved the new plugin. Don't forget to enable the new plugin. It's always best to create a new plugin instead of modifying directly. I hope it works. I say for myself. I just did it but haven't met Glass armored Thalmor yet.
Thinking about it. Not sure if changing weapons is a good idea cause they use a one handed weapon and already have an A.I. set up for one handed weapons. Will, I don't know. Maybe you can like when you give companions different weapons. I just don't know. Like if they want to use magic. I don't know. Maybe. Just a thought.
To keep it safe, I just changed them to their Ebony counterparts since it'll match and keep the axe for myself. For reference, move all LItemThalmor to new mod so you can see what all you have to change.
Ok, so for dagger and shield, you have to change at LitemThalmor instead of SublistThalmor cause there isn't a Sublist for those
WORD OF CAUTION. JACKING WITH EQUIPPED ITEMS MID GAME CAN CAUSE THEM TO POP UP WITH NO CLOTHES. Happened to me before.
I'll just leave this up here. I think I like Project 7's how he made the elven armors super shiny. Makes elves really look like foreigners.
Hello Lagrie, do you have any plans to make a mod that compiles all you recent armours? it would certainly simplify things and would be easier to manage for users.
Excellent work on your recent releases, honestly looks like they are armours Bethesda themselves would make, maybe even better
One question: If I were to find the time and inclination to do so, would you mind if I made a plugin distributing it through the world? Nothing too crazy, just to some places that would make sense. Only reason I ask is I don't really enjoy crafting.

That's actually why I stopped using it on xbox.
