Unfortunately, there are some quests which, while not being part of the main quest themselves, otherwise rely on things which this mod locks you out of. I’ll add to this list as more things come to my attention, so comment if you find/are aware of anything else like this!
• Repairing the Phial - after finding the white phial, the quest to repair it also has “The Throat of the World” as a prerequisite quest. Even if the quest starts, if you’re not the Dragonborn you would have to use console commands to get the Unmelting Snow. • Alteration Ritual Spell - requires looting Dragons, which don’t appear if you’re not the Dragonborn. If you’re somehow a master of Alteration BEFORE ever doing Dragon Rising I think Mirmulnir would actually work for this, but most likely his corpse has long since despawned. If I ever get bold, I may have a go at creating some non-immersion-breaking workarounds, but until then leave a comment if you find/know of anything else like the above examples!
Hi, just wanted to let you know I absolutely love this mod! However, I have recently started a new game and it gets stuck on the 'investigate Mirmulnir' section of the quest. I do not have Not So Fast-Main Quest in my mod load, nor anything else that would edit the main questline. Although I *do* have Thane Of Whiterun requires favours which may be the culprit. Just thought I'd let you know and I'll try and do the quest once I uninstall that mod.
Hi, I found that the mod does not work - as I couldn't complete Dragon Rising (unless usage of console commands) due to 'investigate Mirmulnir'. Have you got any advice?
Is this infinitely toggleable? Reason I ask is because I want to do a playthrough with Proteus where one of the world's characters is Dragonborn and the others aren't, so it would be great to disable word walls and dragon souls for those characters while having them enabled for the one character.
Secondary question - if you've already done Dragon Rising with this mod and haven't absorbed Mirmulnir's soul, how do you continue the Main Quest if you then decide to toggle Dragonborn on? (Or does that not work, and that's why you recommend not doing that? )
On a separate note I will look at seeing if a patch is needed for my Whiterun without Main Quest mod.
Thank you so SO much for this port. I can finally sleep better knowing I don't have to redo my non-dragonborn character since I used LAL for that one and only discovered Unbound much, much later. Endorsed :)
Hi! Is there a way to activate Word Walls while not being the Dragonborn? I kind of want to learn them and roleplay as someone like Ulfric for example, who can shout while not being the Dragonborn. Thanks!
Edit: One more question. Is this irreversible? Say I activated this mod and killed the first dragon and the quest ended and all, but then I regretted my decision and wanna be Dragonborn again, will de-activating the mod make it happen or is my save beyond repair?
Hey man, is there a way to make the lesser power auto-cast, so I don't enter the magic menu for it. You know, for immersion purposes... There was a mod like "in your shadows" that showed the question automatically after you gain control of your character, but can't find it anymore
Tysm. Skyrim unbound was so buggy, so I wanted to use live another life instead - which doesn't have an option for not being a Dragonborn. FSR Unbound inverted gravity and turned me into a t-posing Superman. Also nice that it doesn't skip Bleak.

Hi, thank you for the port. Sadly I'm stuck at Mirmulnir death (investigate the dragon, even without timing is everything for the main quest!). I don't think I've another mod who touch MQ. Thank for your help.
USSEP, the Vanilla Plus Writing Purity Patch, and Not So Fast - MQ are the three mods in my fairly large load order that also touch MQ104. Do you have any of those loading after In Your Shadow?

It seems it don't work in AE... I didn't received the lesser power.It works in AE. I had a problem with NMM, I installed the mod but the manager forgot to activate the plugin ¬¬
