I have the GOG version, 1.6.659, It is supposed to be Skyrim SE as purchased from GOG. It is not the paid Anniversary Edition Will this work, or is that a potential update? Thank you.
You can consider this version for the CC contents. So it doesn't depend on version, but on the fact that you use CC contents from AE or not ( you need it also if you are using a downgrade from AE to SE and you consider to use CC contents).
If you are having crashes after updating the game on accident and needed to downgrade, try using Backported Extended ESL Support, this fixed it for me. Edit: this also fixed Unofficial Skyrim Creation Club Content Patch for me.
So where do I place this mod (and all of its patches / other mods patches for it) when LOOT is not an option? I have a 1400+ mod list, no wabbajack, and LOOT completely breaks my setup with this many mods. It puts things all over the place! To be honest its quite bad advice as it is common knowledge that LOOT cannot handle and will break very large modlists. As it stands I get worse performance with this as i'm not sure where to place it all.. dissapointing fps killer for me. GTX 1080ti FE, i9 9900kf, 32gb Corsair Dominator Platinum ddr4, Auros Gaming 7 and on NVME SSD. And yes I have the anniversary edition file, official / unnoficial patches etc etc.
This has to go very hight in load order (it's a esm). I'm sorry for the decrease in performance, as you've seen it depends a lot on the composition of your hardware and apparently on luck lol
Did the free version also come with the 3 main DLC? Because I have those + fishing+S&S, but also zero memory of buying AE. But that doesn't necessarily mean anything.

Thank you.
Great mod!
Could you provide a patch for JK's Markarth Expansion please ? I don't see it listed anywhere.
Thank you!
What about mods that add architecture like Skyshards? (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/60748)
Is this kind of mod incompatible too?
Edit: If anyone knows I would appreciate an answer.
