v1.1 is out. Thanks to @Gaerzi I discovered that Saints & Seducers is not a requirement. You need just Skyrim Special Edition v1.6 or Skyrim Anniversary Edition. Enjoy.
No, you don't need any original Oblivion game. Soundtracks are included in the latest version of Skyrim and are used by Saints and Seducers cc mod. So I've used them.
I don't know how it works music tracklist with BS:Bruma. If they're using default tracklist then you can't do so much unless you make another mod that adds new tracklist exclusively for BS:Bruma.
So the sound track is already within the Update.ESM of Skyrim itself? I don't have to have the external sound track?
Oddly enough I just found my official copy of the Oblivion sound track, would I be able to add the music directly or it just wouldn't be needed with the aforementioned assets already being a part of vanilla Skyrim? Clarification would be great. Thank you MannyGT. I wish we could see more mods out of you or even ports of mods.
On another note I would like to see you release an updated version of Portals for Skyrim patched for various environmental mods like the 1.65 version of Enhanced Landscapes. *hint* *hint*
The music is already part of vanilla skyrim. At least some of the oblivion dungeon tracks are. In vanilla they are only played in some specific creation club dungeons. With this mod they can also play in other skyrim dungeons. Hope this helps :)
Ahhhh it does indeed. Thank you rmorgan16! Kudos to you for being helpful. It is truly appreciated!
I wasn't sure and I will likely install this but I'm also looking for a merge style mod for several music mods I use. I'm not sure if this needs it but I also use Fantasy Soundtrack by the great mod author AceeQ. It adds absolutely BEAUTIFUL music to Skyrim that works so well you would swear that his music mod came packed with Skyrim originally. The music is rapturous and sounds like the very soul of Skyrim reincarnated as a music mod.
In fact just before I was reviewing MannyGT's mods I had just seconds before found my copy of the Oblivion sound track bought courtesy of the GOG GOTY version of Oblivion. I wonder if packaging the entire sound track with this file would make the mod work even more improved than the vanilla mod would by itself - the only issue is not knowing the proper folder or file path for the soundtrack itself.
IF you see this give AceeQ's mod a try if you see this response, the link is AceeQ Music Mod.
Opened with TES5Edit and yes, you're right. I though the soundtracks was related to CC Saints & Seducers mod because I heard them inside the sewers of Solitude during the quest.
I'll release a new version without Saints & Seducers mod dependency.
It does also mean that mod should be compatible with Skyrim 1.5.97 even without CC content at all, because music files are in Skyrim - Patch.bsa and music records also present in pre-AE Update.esm
If is true then is a good news. I discovered the Oblivion soundtracks because of the free CC content Saints & Seducers. I never thought that they was already been there in update.esm before AE update. If someone still have the 1.5.97 installed, please test it! Thanks.
I checked your mod with xEdit and the path to the files is Data\Music\CreationClub\ I don't think those exist inside 1.5.97 files, hence not compatible.

I tried doing it myself but I was in way over my head

I'll endorse this as soon as possible.
