Geez, you could at least mention that this is female only at the top of the description, instead of making people waste their time reading all your stuff just to find that notice hidden somewhere at the bottom. Seriously, why is it so hard for some modders to put this (very important) information in the mods headline or at the top of the description?
This is a mod that allows you to set a unique body and textures for your character, which will be different from the body and textures for npc, the description clearly states the same.
I installed the textures from the demoniac mod and noticed that the sweaty body textures don't show up on the face, although they should, in racemenu I selected the right part of the face.
There is a mod for unique textures for female npc of each race, it has the same problem that the facial textures do not match the body textures, and there is a script for SSEEdit, which fixes this problem, including specular maps, perhaps it will somehow help you, in further work on the mod. But there is a little nuance, this script is only for npc. =) https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/41008 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/48315
I downloaded and installed a fresh copy and it seems to work just fine. Would you like to crack open xEdit/SSEEdit and check the player NPC_ record? If it were a resource pathing issue either the body wouldn't render or it would be textureless.
Well , i dont see any problem in SSEEdit related with the texture paths..i´ve been testing in game all pluguns from version 1.2-1.3 and 1.3.1 ( body and head options..and all the esp files from head seem to work fine, only the CustomPlayerAssets.esp ( the base one) from versions 1.3 and 1.3.1 are giving me the problem ( game loading BODY base textures) the same plugin from version 1.2 is showing the custom textures.. I only noticed a difference in the size of the plugins : 1.2 ver is 3kb while 1.3 onwards is 633kb but i dont think that helps too much..thx for your replies , anyway :).
The only difference in the main plugin between 1.2 and 1.3.1 should be the race record overrides which is why it is so much larger. I'm not sure why it isn't working for you. I wonder if anyone else is having this issue?
I really owe you an apologize..so i´m sorry it was my fault..when i mentioned i loaded your mod very low in my load roder i was telling the truth...but looks like was not low enough..i have a mod called " sacrosant" that chnges a lot of things about vampirism..and this mod was below yours ( as the author recomends to load in the last positions) , once i sorted your mod below this one the custom textures appeared again..it seems that in version 1.2 was not so necessary to load the mod between the last ones ..So my excuses again and really BIG thanks for your time and patience . I would like to delete my previous posts about this topic, but i cant :)
Been using Unique Character for quite some time now and I'm absolutely happy to see this being released as it appears to be much more straightforward than the aforementioned; the only thing keeping me from switching right now is the lack of body morph support here. Worth mentioning is that UC has a somewhat similar problem reading custom specular and subsurface texture maps as well so you're forced to keep them in the standard actors/character/female folder (and no custom tintmask support either).
At any rate, I'm really looking forward to see where you take this so I'll def track and endorse; pretty much all other previous releases of similar mods have been long-abandoned and I'm really surprised this whole concept isn't more popular given how difficult it can be to maintain the vanilla-like weathered look and feel to NPCs when using some of the more popular body/face texture mods, so being able to separate PC and NPC textures is really helpful in that regard.
