Hello, this mod is not working at all for me. I have CACO, so I got the relevant file from here. I also saw your nice spoiler post with the recipes.
I cannot craft a singled potion based on the recipes you posted. Almost every combination gives either "Potion Creation Failed" or some unrelated potion.
I'm probably being stupid. Are there other known mod conflicts that could be affecting things?
None that come to mind, but any other mod that changes the effects of ingredients could have an impact to some degree. Make sure that you are using the CACO version of this mod and that it is loaded after both CACO and Last Seed. If it is loaded before CACO, that would very likely revert my changes in which case none of the recipes will work.
Edit: More things to try to troubleshoot: 1. The order should be correct if you sort using something like LOOT, since CACO and Last Seed are both required masters, which forces them to precede this patch. 2. You could also try opening the console in-game (~) and typing "help recipe". That should spit out a list of all recipes in the game, including these ones. If you can't see them in the list, then the patch is not loading for some reason. If you can see them, then the patch did load but a mod conflict is to blame.
I got these two diseases and have advanced to crazy stages. The problem is - I'm in a new world (Chanterelle), and there are no apothecaries to buy these recipes. I dont see them in the Alchemy Lab. I use vanilla Alchemy. Can you publish the recipes in an article or in a <Spoiler> section or atleast let us know which ingredients are needed? Thanks for updating this addon for Last Seed.
Thank you. Much appreciated. I think it still makes sense to use Last Seed diseases only if you are in Skyrim or a worldspace which has cities with apothecaries. In Chanterelle, it is very risky, as there is no guarantee that we will find specific ingredients for a specific disease. I'm using Sunhelm diseases, which work with a Cure Disease potion. But when I do a Skyrim playthrough, Last Seed is a must-have. Thank you for making these recipes. A must-have patch, IMO.
Afaik you can activate in the Last Seed MCM to be able to use normal Cure Disease Potions. I mean, iirc I did exactly that when playing LS with Shattered Skyrim.
The ingredients can be viewed with the Alchemist's Journal mod. That and the LE-only Alchemy recipe view mode (LE) mod are the only mods I know of that provide lists that include mod-added ingredients and that only show known effects.
Unfortunately, Alchemist's journal thinks all your added effects are already known, so the journal becomes a cheat for just these ingredients. It appears to be an issue with the gamedata information's knownEffectFlags bitfield somehow having ones after the first four bits. I'm guessing that's something that can't be fixed.
At any rate, if someone wants an in-game list, the Alchemist's Journal will work
This is a result of the mod adding a fifth effect to ingredients that normally have only four, since the game only seems to look at those first four effects when sorting. The alternative would have been to replace one of the four effects, which risked disrupting known recipes from the base game or other mods. It works exactly as it should when combining ingredients, but you will have remember the recipes. Or go support your local apothecary ;)

Edit: The new version is up. Let me know if you have any issues.
