I really do love the story this mod wants to tell. Unfortunately, there were many quests that simply did not want to play the way the author likely intended. I'd been able to work around everything until SummersetArtQ05, at which point the mod just refuses to continue. The quest in particular doesn't seem to be able to be started naturally, or by force with console commands. If someone knows of a way around this, please comment so.
Personally, I feel this mod could still be something great if another pass or two was done by the author or someone with the know-how to fix its bugs. Artaeum could also definitely use some landscaping to bring it up to even the level of Auridon and Summerset. Adding a bit of cohesion between exterior and interiors would also be lovely, as well as some unique models for Artaeum, Auridon, and Summersets architecture. A farewell quest at the very end to let you know you've completed the main quest wouldn't be a miss either. The mod feels like a very, VERY late stage beta build at the moment and could very well be polished into something fantastic if someone was willing to do so.
Sadly however, at this time, I would only recommend you playing this for the experience and not for an actual playthrough.
I did play this 2 times before, and what was important, specially towards the end, was to move at special path's through the Isle, to trigger stuff, a bit irritating but I think I did manage it without to many console commands that time. Maybe if it might not be to hard, I maybe will try to make a patch a something... We see... I do now what to expect this 3rd play through. I also see that it was updated a couple of month's after my last play through...
I do recall I did enter the final quest from the right path the last time, when you where supposed to meet up for the final battle. I do recall 4 years ago I did came from the left path, which did not trigger the gathered group. Well, just a memory, that might be fixed, or not? IDK? How do I complete Roll It Back Quest, when you are supposed to teleport the eye of magnus to summerset? I get a black screen when I use the scrying pool and nothing else happens. I can move around but my screen stays black and I can't see anything.
Auridon Academy: Conjuration questline. Currently doing the final Conjuration Trial in 'Master of Conjuration'. Zeus instructs me to stand opposite him and summon a 'familiar' in the centre of the pit. With the Summoner perk I can summon a familiar or various Master level thralls to the indicated marker (or the surrounding area) but nothing apparently satisfies the requirements. Hints anyone? Can't change to another magic school to meet the requirements of 'First Voicing' apparently.
used 'setstage AuridonAcadConjQ05 60' to bypass conjuring a familiar in the pit not updating the quest used 'setstage AuridonAcadConjQ05 80' to bypass conjuring a flame atronach which presented the same problem. conjuring a Dremora Lord however did update the quest and rest of the quest presented no problems.
Such a underrated mod , went in with pretty low expectations but the quests are unique and a lot of fun , one of my favourites so far is the one where you are asked to help find a dog. Wish there was more footage online so i could see all the alternative outcomes but i may need to replay sometime in the future! At first you might be a little underwhelmed with this mod but it doesn't take long to get to the interesting stuff. Great work, thanks so much for the fun distraction that is this mod!
Enjoying the mod and seems to be working well on Skyrim gog version. I have to ask though, why is Auriden market place flooded? I mean, no stall holder wants to stand around with their feet in water! Haven't the Psijics heard of drainage? I mean - one mage with a lightning bolt and pffft go the lot of them! :))
I have no issues on the latest version of Skyrim so the plugin itself cannot be the issue. Maybe check if your SKSE and game versions match, since this mod is SKSE dependent:)
