Updated desctiption on Nexus mod page to properly reflect many minor and major changes throughout many versions.
Slow Time: added new screen visual with subdued tone and easier on the eyes, duration reduced to 10/15/20. When you use the shout, there is a new power added to the Power tab allowing you to end the effect early, should you need it.
Become Ethereal: added a new screen visual with subdued tone and easier on the eyes compared to vanilla one. When you use the shout, there is a new power added to the Power tab allowing you to end the effect early, should you need it.
Soul Tear: The shout now does no damage to dragons, Miraak and yourself (based on the lore, dragon souls are very resilient, so the idea of a shout that "shatters" soul dealing damage to being with dragon souls is kinda wacky).
Marked for Death: armor rating drain rate reduced to 5/10/15 per second per word (in vanilla most enemies have very little to 0 armor rating, so with the previous magnitude this shout is a bit too strong).
Whirlwind Spint: knockdown force is reduced.
Dragonrend: magic resistance debuff to dragons reduced to 10/20/30%
Storm Call: lengthened lightning strike visibility time to better synchronize with actual hit feedback when the lightning strikes actually hit targets.
Minor text edits for several shout effect description.
Corrected several mismatch values between main file and Thunderchild patch.
Durnehviir and Odahviing get a slight change to their shout lists.
Version 3.4
Slightly tweaked player's shout resistance effect (the AllowShouting perk). With this change, most shouts when used against you should be on par when compared to vanilla game in term of damage (most enemies would only have access to Frost Breath, Unrelenting Force and Disarm; however; depending on your setup, they could get shouts like Fire Breath and Ice Form).
Kyne's Peace: Slightly rewrote description so that the text won't be cut off when viewing it the shout tab.
Call of Valor: added condition to prevent summon duplication if you have mods increasing summon limit.
Animal Allegiance: added condition to prevent summon duplication if you have mods increasing summon limit.
Summon Durnehviir: added condition to prevent summon duplication if you have other mods that increases summon limit.
Falskaar patch: Champion Spirit: Slightly rewrote description so that the text won't be cut off when viewing it the shout tab and cooldown changed to 15/15/15.
Wyrmstooth patch: for Phantom Form shout, I decided to create 2 new actors, 1 male Nord and 1 female Nord, for the summon effect; I kept getting dark face issue when working with the original actor, so this is probably for the best. Each actor will be summoned depending on your character's chosen sex. Their weapon now has a higher attack damage compared to most weapons in the game (the phantom still deal very little to no damage; this change is made to prevent the phantom sometimes will pick up another weapon with higher base damage during combat).
Wyrmstooth patch: slightly rewrote the magic description text of Phantom Form. The phantom now has an invisible aggro cloak that turn hostiles' attention away from you (using a script from Dragonborn DLC) and is capable of using Whirlwind Sprint to sow chaos during combat. You also can not summon more than 1 phantom, even if you have perks or magic effects increasing summon limit (please note you need to use the optional file along main file so that the phantom can actually use the shout).
Wyrmstooth patch: Vulthurkrah should now properly uses his Storm Call shout (his Storm Call use the vanilla effects without edits from my mod). The shout is still unvoiced since both the mod and vanilla game do not have the dragon voice for this shout).
Wyrmstooth patch: Removed Dismay shout from Vulthurkrah's spell list (Wyrmstooth dragon boss) since he could priority use this shout instead of other normal dragon shouts (the Dismay shout in his spell list is the same one as player's) (I will revert this change in the future if Wyrmstooth's author makes the change by themselves).
Thunderchild patch: Removed the leftover ghost effect from animal spirits of Animal Allegiance.
Whirlwind Sprint: added some minor grammar corrections and incorporated voice fix from "Whirlwind Sprint Delayed Voice Fix - SSE" mod by Deebz96. The cloak effect now also has 75% chance to negate incoming magic damage completely while it's active.
Removed recover flag from 2 summon animal effect of Animal Allegiance (redundant edits from my part).
Dragon Aspect: cooldown changed to 15/15/15.
Rewrote condition to make the 20% chance to resist Ice Form's paralysis and Unrelenting Force's knockdown when you are level 51 and above is actually a 20% chance.
Corrected grammar for some magic effect descriptions. Some minor description texts were also rewritten.
Bend Will: word 1 will now put affected targets in a stone shell for 5 seconds. They are paralyzed and take extremely reduced damage (for this change I have to make to make extra effect flagged as a hostile action in order not to break combat, so during Dragonborn DLC main quest, please be careful when using this shout to cleanse the Maker Stones) (also when using this effect on a non-hostile targets, the game may get funky with the bounty but this is a problem with how the game recognizes crimes and witnesses).
Elemental Fury: the description now will show the percentage of attack speed increase per word.
Gormlaith, Felldir and Hakon now know Elemental Fury and Whirlwind Sprint and may use them in combat.
Slightly tweaked Miraak's combat shouts so that he should use them during combat accordingly.
Miraak's Whirlwind Sprint: when he uses this shout (outside of scripted dashes during your fight with him), he too will be cloaked in whirlwind without dashing forward. The cloak grants him extra armor + spell absorption; the whirlwind also causes stagger when you are close to him.
Whirlwind Sprint: the chance for knockdown from whirlwind cloak is reduced to 25/50/75 percent per word level.
Streamlined and standardized some taper values to ensure shouts' duration and magnitude value are exactly what I state in the description.
Frost Breath: slow effect magnitude increased to 25/50/75% per word level.
Slow effect for Ice Form and Frost Breath now won't stack with other slow effects with the MagicSlow keyword. Targets with 75% Frost resistance or more are immune to the slow.
Dismay: the shout now won't work on Vampire Lord, Miraak, Ebony Warrior and Karstaag.
Version 3.3
Removed the Dragon Rising quest completion requirement from the perk I edited for the shout resistance (not sure if this would break anything, but the Mod Shout OK entry from the perk AllowShouting does not prevent you from using shouts if you add them through Console Command. Also, by default, dragons only spawn after this quest).
Included latest script from Storm Wrath Lightning.
Falskaar patch: Champion's Spirit: duration reduced to 150/300/450 seconds, unarmed damage bonus reduced to 25/50/75 points. Magic resistance bonus is increased to 10/20/30%.
Undeads from Durnehviir's summon shouts: they now only takes 10% of falling damage. Increasing Durnehviir summon range somehow allows him to summon them on his body and those undeads would sometimes drop from the sky.
Storm Call: lightnings strike a little slower, however, the damage is increased to 25/50/75 per level.
Drain Vitality: it now deals 10 points of Health/Magicka/Stamina to affected targets and transfers 5 points of Health/Magicka/Stamina per target hit to you (I forgot to take into account that absorb damage counts as damage for affected enemies, so I lowered the damage for the drain attribute to match what I have in mind initially. In addition, the bonus absorption if the player is a vampire has been removed.
Become Ethereal: Removed the waterwalking ability (while this is fun, it also robs you one of the underwater exploration tool). The shout will now also apply Light Foot perk from Sneak skill tree during its duration.
Slow Time: The shout will now apply Light Foot perk from Sneak skill tree during its duration.
Added some minor tweaks and conditions to make AIs use the available shouts assigned to them more appropriately.
Wyrmstooth patch: Phantom Form - The phantom now is a male Nord with a default face preset. Instead of being locked in one place, the phantom will start to combat hostile targets to distract them (it deals heavily reduced damage).
Thunderchild patch: For Marked for Death's empowered version, the full shout will drain extra 5 points of armor rating from affected targets. This effect persists until they are dead (the armor rating will reset after they die should you still want to reanimate them).
Edited some minor text descriptions for Animal Allegiance, Call of Valor and Drain Vitality.
Version 3.2
Whirlwind Sprint: If used during combat, you will get a few seconds of slow time. Also I have changed the shader effect to something more appropriate (the steam one is kind of out of place with the whirlwind cloak).
Become Ethereal: readded the no fall damage effect back to the shout (this prevents your character grunting when landing even though you are invulnerable to fall damage during the effect; I actually forgot why I added this in the first place, silly me)
Force Without Effort: the immunity also apply to Dragon's Unrelenting Force (some mods, like my my mod Slightly Stronger Dragons actually gets dragons to use the shout, so it's nice effect to have)
Eternal Spirit: health regeneration during Ethereal Form increased back 200% (at the 100% value it is a bit underwhelming compared to other 2 word mediations) (also in Creation kit it seems like the default effect is attached to a quest, probably for the purpose of Paarthurnax teaching word meditation, so for safe precaution, the stamina and magicka regeneration effect is now attached to the default health regeneration by the Perk to Apply function (I used an unused vanilla perk called MQGreybeardsFeim).
Marked for Death: the shout now drains 5 point of health and 10/20/30 points of armor rating for 60/90/120 seconds. Overall cooldown is changed to 40/60/80 seconds (the shout can not be stacked and the armor rating will return to normal after the effect ends; thanks to the script of Marked for Death Fix by SomeWelshGuy the armor rating can be drained without getting stuck to one value for the whole duration).
Slow effect from Frost Breath and Ice Form now deals a slightly detrimental effect to opponents' carry weight (vanilla Skyrim does not update actor speed unless something changes their carry weight)
Frost Breath: slow effect duration increased to 20 seconds for all 3 words.
Ice Form: slow effect duration changed to 25/35/45
Elemental Fury and Battle Fury: I discovered an unused visual effect left in the game that looks appropriate to what I am looking for, so I added it to these shouts.
Dragonborn Frost: paralysis duration reduced to 6/12/18 seconds
Gormlaith: I included her facegen texture to prevent crashing when summoning her (in the 3.1 I only included mesh file) (also the mesh and texture are loose file and not packed in the BSA; if you are using mods changing her appearance, you may need to create a patch).
Animal Allegiance: removed the condition that you must be outside to summon the spirit animals.
Added several perks to Felldir, Gormlaith and Hakon
Storm Call: now used updated script from the latest version of Dajemic's Storm Wrath Lightning. Damaged is reduce to 20/40/60 shock damage per word level.
Slightly rewrote the description for Aura Whisper in the magic effect menu.
Version 3.1
Ice Form: the shout will now deal 375/625/875 points of Frost damage over 15/25/35 seconds. Targets affected will also have movement speed reduce by 75% for 30/50/70 seconds.
Cyclone: I accidentally increased the damage of the shout. The damage will go back to 50/100/150 as intended.
Animal Allegiance: summon animal spirits now have new visual, courtesy of Ethereal Beasts - Familiar and Spirit Visuals by PastChristmas
All summons from shouts now have standardized vanilla speed value: 100.
Call of Valor: Gormlaith, Felldir and Hakon now use Sovngarde glow effect (Hakon loses some of his beard with the vanilla ghost effect, also for Gormlaith I included a renamed vanilla facegen nif to prevent black face bug).
Some draugrs use a weaker version of the Unrelenting Force, so for this Unrelenting Force version I set the cooldown to 90 (you would think this does not matter much but in vanilla game the cooldown for this version is 15, so you could get bombarded and stunlocked by a group of draugrs).
Dragon Aspect: updated description about which health value Ancient Dragonborn shows up to help you (25%)
The resistance for Unrelenting Force's knockdown and Ice Form's paralysis when you are level 51 should work properly now.
Disarm Shout: increased cooldown to 20/35/50. Disarm Shout after knockdowns and disarms target now causes disorientation effect for enemies: for 10/15/20 seconds if they try to equip weapons again they get thrown down until the effect goes off.
Remove Dismay from Odahviing and remove Ice Form/Soul Tear from Durnnehviir. While it's fun seeing them utilize different shouts, more often than not their AIs freak out and keep spamming low damage/support shouts.
Increase range and duration for Durnehviir's undead summon shout
Version 3.0a
Dragon Aspect: to summon Ancient Dragonborn your health now needs to be under 25%.
Added some missing changes as I uploaded the wrong file for 3.0.
Version 3.0
Unrelenting Force: damage increased from 25/50/75 to 50/75/100 (extra damage from the Dragonborn Force power also been increased to 50/75/100)
Force Without Effort mediation perk: stagger damage and resistance decreased back to vanilla value: 25% with an extra effect: Unrelenting Force's damage is increased by 50%. and you can not be harmed by it.
Eternal Spirit meditation perk: Health regeneration bonus during Ethereal form is reduced from 200% to 100%.
The Fire Within meditation perk: Removed the frenzied effect. Instead, Fire Breath will reduce targets' armor rating by 150/300/400 for 15/30/45 seconds.
Call Dragon: name changed to Summon Odahviing, also you will need to complete the Dragonslayer quest to bend will him with word 1/2 (tested with the new condition I put in and it works wonders)
Summon Durneviir: readded the condition to bend him with word 1/2, which is completing his quest: summoning him for 3 times and learning the Soul Tear shout (tested with the new condition I put in and it works wonders)
Bend Will: reduced the duration for word 2/3 from 600/900 to 180/360 (I did not realize the shout can bend multiple targets at first).
Frost Breath: reduced slow effect from 50/75/100% down to 50% for all 3 words (this change would probably go unnoticed since the slow effect in vanilla is broken)
Ice Form: reduced slow effect from 100% down to 75% for all 3 words (I also reworked player resistance, you would be paralyzed around 9 seconds and take around 67.5 points of Frost damage on Adept)
Drain Vitality: drain damage increased from 5 to 10. If you are a vampire, absorb damage is increased by 100%.
Marked for Death: the purple shader will last for the whole duration (not sure if I messed this up in 2.9 but I found the FX persist flag is unmarked in Creation Kit during my work for the 3.0)
New changes to the resistance against Unrelenting Force's knockdown effect and Ice Form's paralyze effect: raised the level for the resistance to 51, and instead of total immunity, these effects only have 20% chance to occur.
Elemental Fury: removed the MagicShout keyword (not a bugfix, but since some mods strengthen shouts by reading this keyword, removing this can increase compatibilities with them)
Shout effects now use shout icon art in the magic effect menu.
Throw Voice: cooldown reduced from 45/30/15 to 30/20/10
Storm Call: stagger chance changed from 20% for all 3 word to 10/20/30% respectively.
Minor changes: Kyne's Peace description now also alludes to the healing properties, Whirlwind Sprint: the effect name in the magic effect is changed to Tempest Rush and new shader for Elemental Fury and Battle Fury.
Dragonrend: removed the NoFlightAbility script (I did not realize it makes dragons stand completely still after being hit by this shout).
The Dragonborn Force Black Blook perk: the disintegrate chance is reduced from 25% down to 20%
Kyne's Peace: the heal value is increased to 75/150/225 points of health/stamina/magicka.
Thunderchild patch: added missing empowered effects for several shouts
Dismay shout: cooldown is reduced 30/40/50 and the duration is increased to 20/30/40
Version 2.9
Reduced Unrelenting Force damaged to 25/50/75 (extra damage from the Dragonborn Force power also been reduced to 25/50/75).
Fixed Become Ethereal's word 2 bug that causes the shout to not have extra effects (muffe and waterwalking).
Added Soul Tear shout to Durnehviir (he wouldn't spam it all the times, at least in my testing).
Changed visual effect for Whirlwind Sprint, Elemental Fury and Battle Fury.
Added extra effect for Whirlwind sprint: while the cloak is active, you have 75% chance to negate all incoming physical attacks.
Removed quest requirements for Call Dragon and Summon Durnehviir
Version 2.8
Fixed some minor bugs on the main file.
Thunderchild patch: deleted duplicated records when I was converting it to Special Edition.
Wyrmstooth patch: fixed some minor bugs with the Phantom from the Phantom Form shout.
Falskaar patch: added the "once a day" description to the Champion's Spirit shout.
In vanilla Skyrim, shouts are kind of weak and do not scale well into end-game. With my mod, shouts are actually worth using now!
I highly recommend that you should use my mod together with those adding high level enemies and play on higher difficulties, as I envision and balance the gameplay experience around that idea.
Give me an endorsement if you enjoy my mod.
*Installation: This mod requires Unofficial Skyrim Patch Special Edition Patch! => 3.5 version now offer patch for those not wanting to use USSEP. Just place my files into the Data folder and you are good to go. Please make sure you are not on shout cooldown or have any shout effect before installing/updating/uninstalling my mod.
*General changes: + Shouts now have direct word translation in their name. + Shout effects now don't belong to any school of magic to avoid unintentional effects from magic perks (vanilla Augmented Fire/Frost perks still affect Fire Breath/Frost Breath/Ice Form shouts). + You only take a fraction of damage from most offensive shouts (with the damage change, this edit is made to ensure you are not getting one-shot from Draugrs and Miraak). + When you are level 51 and above, Unrelenting Force's knockdown and Ice Form's paralysis only have 20% chance to affect you. + You can fast travel in real-time with dragons when riding them (delete the INI file if you don't like this feature). + Unrelenting Force's cooldown (weaker version used by low level Draugs that does not ragdoll) is increased to 90 seconds. + Miraak's assigned shouts are slightly changed so that he would make better use of them during the duel at the summit of Apocrypha.
*Changes to Word Meditation perks: + Force Without Effort: You stagger 25% less and foes stagger 25% more. Unrelenting Force shout deals 50% more damage and you can not be harmed by it.
+ Eternal Spirit: While in Ethereal form, your health recovers 200% faster and your stamina + magicka recover 100% faster.
+ The Fire Within: Fire Breath shout deals 50% more damage and reduces targets' armor rating by 150/300/450 points for 15/30/45 seconds.
*Changes to Black Book shout powers: + Dragonborn Flame: Summons a fire wyrm when your Fire Breath kills an enemy (the wyrm now has better AI and stronger stats).
+ Dragonborn Force: Your Unrelenting Force shout does more damage and using all three words may disintegrate enemies. (Unrelenting Forces deals extra 50/75/100 points of damage per word level and has 20% chance to instantly kill foes when using all there word, turning them to ashes).
+ Dragonborn Frost: Your Frost Breath Shout lasts 50% longer and it can encase your foes in ice. (enemies failing to resist are encased in ice for 6/12/18 seconds).
*Changes to Shouts: [Animal Allegiance] + cd: 30s/animals under level 25 become your allies for 3 minutes; a spirit wolf comes to your aid for 120 seconds. + cd: 50s/animals under level 50 become your allies for 6 minutes; a spirit wolf and a spirit sabre cat come to your aid for 150 seconds. + cd: 70s/animals under level 75 become your allies for 9 minutes; a spirit wolf, a spirit sabre cat and a spirit bear come to your aid for 180 seconds.

[Battle Fury] (Instead of enchanting weapons, this shout increases attack speed directly with a magic effect and enchanted/left-handed weapons can benefit from the speed increase) + cd: 20s/allies around you attack 30% faster for 30 seconds. + cd: 35s/allies around you attack 50% faster for 60 seconds. + cd: 50s/allies around you attack 70% faster for 90 seconds.
[Become Ethereal] + cd: 20s/Ethereal form protects you from all damage for 10 seconds; during this time you are muffled and gain Light Foot perk. + cd: 40s/Ethereal form protects you from all damage for 20 seconds; during this time you are muffled and gain Light Foot perk. + cd: 60s/Ethereal form protects you from all damage for 30 seconds; during this time you are muffled and gain Light Foot perk. (during the effect, you can end the effect early through a new power; you can access it in the Power tab). [Call of Valor] (these heroes now have stronger stats with appropriate combat perks and they will use Fire Breath/Frost Breath/Disarm/Dismay/Ice Form/Unrelenting Force/Dragonrend/Elemental Fury/Whirlwind Sprint in combat. Their shout cooldown is also faster compared to yours. For Gormlaith specifically, I also made her use the default female stance instead of the male one) + cd: 90s/summons Gormlaith from Sovngarde for 180 seconds. + cd: 90s/summons Felldir from Sovngarde for 180 seconds. + cd: 90s/summons Hakon from Sovngarde for 180 seconds.
[Clear Skies] (the shout lasts longer and the shockwave no longer kills birds when you use it in the wild, the shout is now considered a non-hostile action, meaning when you aim this shout at someone, it would not count as an attack) + cd: 10s/causes clear weather for 60 seconds. + cd: 15s/causes clear weather for 90 seconds. + cd: 20s/causes clear weather for 120 seconds. [Disarm] (this shout now has new effect: enemies hit by this shout will have their weapons get unequipped, not disarmed like before; due to the new effect, npcs immune to paralysis are also invulnerable against this shout) + cd: 20s/Enemies under level 25 with weapon drawn get knocked down and "disarmed". For 10 seconds if they try to equip their weapon again they get knocked down again until the timer goes off. + cd: 35s/Enemies under level 50 with weapon drawn get knocked down and "disarmed". For 15 seconds if they try to equip their weapon again they get knocked down again until the timer goes off. + cd: 50s/Enemies under level 75 with weapon drawn get knocked down and "disarmed". For 20 seconds if they try to equip their weapon again they get knocked down again until the timer goes off.
(If you are using multiple weapons and the shouts hit you, you may be paralyzed for the whole duration. That is because the game engine will automatically equip the previous one on you after the first one gets "disarmed". You can bypass this by unequipping the current weapon manually through inventory menu. Please note you can still get knocked down for the rest of the effect's duration if you are trying to equip any kind of weapons)
[Dismay] + cd: 40s/foes under level 25 (except Dragons) flee in terror for 20 seconds. + cd: 50s/foes under level 50 (except Dragons) flee in terror for 30 seconds. + cd: 60s/foes under level 75 (except Dragons) flee in terror for 40 seconds.
