Are the particle lights not supposed to replace the lantern light? It looks weird if my firefly lantern is emitting a green and yellow light and the same time.
I have the same question. Is it how it is or should I look for a fix? Apparently the original light from the WLs still exists and a new ENB source is added on top.
As ali05050 said, the light still exists, the ENB light is attached to the WL light. If you use a mod that changes fireflys' colors, your going to need to edit the color of the ENB Particle light.
I usewearable lanterns, this and ENB and my character emits "point lighting" arround it, even when my lantern is turned off or unequipped now. When I change "point lighting" in ENB settings to 0 it's gone but also light from candles, torches etc. How can I make it work only when lantern is equipped and turned on ?
I have a weird bug, this creates light around my charater even if my lantern is turned off. I checked and PointLightIntensity in [enviroment] is responsible for that, when I change it to 0.00, light disappears but also when lanthern is turned on. Is there any way to make it light only when lantern is turned on ? This is super visible and immersion breaking at night with lantern off, during day its barely noticable. Only color of light is different when I have lanter on, with lantern the light is orange'ish, but with lantern off, it's white light. My ENB is NAT.ENB III

It should be doing that already. The way Chesko's mod works is that it basically adds a spell to the player whenever you turn on your light and it removes it whenever you turn the it off. The ENB Particle Effect is attached to that spell (not the lantern's mesh), so it should only be on when the lantern is on. Unless you have another mod thats changing the functionality of the original way Chesko's Wearable Lantern works, I don't see how it could stay on when the lantern is off.
TBH, I don't know how useful this mod would be if you are using the ENB feature Complex grass, since it makes grass react to light which was the primary function for this mod.
This mod is only meshes, so it's definitely from the OG wearable lantern mod. I spawned it using AddItemMenu - Ultimate Mod Explorer, so I don't know where you can find it in-game, if at all.
One thing that I will mention is that literally everyone of these new ENB particle light mods require that you mess with your ENB settings. Doing so, has ruined the look of the ENB presets I use. Right now, my DistanceFade is set to 0.4. If this won't work with that, then oh well.
It should work fine, you just may not get the full radius due, even if you were to go into the mesh in nifskope and increase the scale. (from my short period of testing) It's a good thing to find a nice middle ground, between your enb and complex particle effects. All these new ENB particle light mods should only have you adjusting your complex particle lights which should only affect particle lights added by the new ENB particle light mods. Don't really see how it would ruin the ENB preset you use unless you're changing other settings.
I did include options to help you not have to mess with the particle lights: Radius and brightness. if your lights in enb complex particle light settings are quite dim, you may want to install the bright variations, and if your fade is high, you may want to install the large radius variation. Feel free to tweak any of the enb particle lights with nifskope to your specific enb and LO, there's a link on how to in the description if you are curious.
how nice this its made and i can se its all new and i guess i did not hav it on my lights like lantern and that stuff i hub it dos so the light works on stuff now ty
