I am kind of confused... Skysa is just an animatiin framework or a combat overhaul? I use the animated armoury (animated heavy armoury as well) and wanted to change the rapier animation for this one... Would it work without Skysa?
I'm having trouble getting this animation to work when I have a spell equipped in my offhand. The animation works perfectly if nothing is equipped in my offhand, but I'm getting a very strange animation (may be coming from another mod, but if it is, I really don't like it) when I also have a spell equipped. Spent a few hours trying to fix this but, several CTD's later, I can't seem to resolve this issue.
This issue only applies to the standing animation without attacking, attack animations are not effected.
I tried it without DAR couse it doesn`t work on new AE ver. I expected it it will not work but animations were added... but to knifes not rapiers. Rapiers have only idle pose. Maybe I can fix it somehow?
UPD: Sorry, it doesn`t work withot DAR. Common dagger SkySa animations just look like rapiers :) It gave me false hope
any chance there could be a mod like this but for the pikes? The rapier animations weren't playing from animated armoury until I downloaded this but I also have the same issue with the pikes. they just play great sword animations and at this point i've tried everything I can think of and it's driving me up the wall.
A couple of problems I wonder if someone can help with. To begin with: I have a very minimal install testing this: XP32, DAR, Nemesis, AMR, SkySA, Animated Armory and this mod. No other animations. I ran nemesis, ticking the SkySA box
When I have just a single line of conditions, the animation will work for that sword. For example,
IsEquippedRightHasKeyword("NewArmoury.esp" | 0x000801) the animation will play for the Animated Armory rapier. Or if I use
IsEquippedRight("CL's Rapier.esp" | 0x000D62) the animation will play for CL's Rapier. However, if I set the condition to:
IsEquippedRightHasKeyword("NewArmoury.esp" | 0x000801) OR IsEquippedRight("CL's Rapier.esp" | 0x000D62) The default vanilla animations play. This is very odd, and probably not the fault of this mod. The conditional OR should work. I know I could copy/paste the folders multiple times to setup each individual rapier mod with it's own animations, but should not have to do that. Do you have any idea why it wouldn't work with the OR condition? I see someone below had the same problem and I wonder how they resolved this.
Any help is appreciated.
Second issue - I am not getting the same animations you have in the video. I am only getting a forward jab for a regular attack and a triple jab for a power attack. No sweeping attack as shown in the video.
EDIT: Resolved the 2nd issue. I didn't realize those other cuts and slashes were when moving backwards or side to side. These are playing like the video.
what was the typo with? I am having an issue with pikes from newarmoury.esp playing great sword animations and if looking for similarities with the rest of the conditions.
