For those that are interested, the version of the creation kit that I use for updating this mod is 1.5.73.0, whilst the latest version in my main Skyrim Special Edition folder in steam is 1.6.1130.0.
I believe that the version of Alternate Start - Live Another Life - SSE that is in my creation kit directory is 4.1.4, as it does not require that the anniversary update (1.6.353.0) or the steam version prior to version 1.6.1130.0 (1.6.640.0).
For some reason when I start some of the "optional starts" I spawn naked lol. Is there a way to give equipment to my character or can someone point me to a direction where I can change it in xEdit. Thanks!
Edit: Some of my options also don't progress the "Second Chance" Quest. Does the update ASLAL require an updated LAL? I'm still on 1.6.640

I'm pretty sure there's something wrong with my LAL being not updated and stuck on the last version that supports 1.6.640. I'm not sure. But there's a lot of quests that don't progress so it must be on my end :(
With regard to the quest "A Ritual Sacrifice", the player is not issued with any clothes. This is a mistake on my part and will be fixed on the next update. As regards to the lock not being picked. It will not be unlocked until David says "Let's go." After this, you will be able to leave the cell and retrieve your random weapon from the nearby table.
I am still looking into the issues with your other starts, but hope to have found out what is causing these other issues.

David never says let's go. I tried unlocking it through console command and talking to David but no progress. Tried using recycleactor on David, bumping into him no dice. But after I use unlock through console and go towards the caves and fight the witches, the quest progresses normally.
Is there a way to turn off notifications every time I load a save? It won't let me turn it off in the mcm menu for some reason... it's stuck ticked as a yes. Edit: Whoa, nevermind! I managed to fix it somehow. Great mod, btw! :D
Some bandits packaged you up in a box and tossed you into Lake Ilinalta. 😄After downing and Lady Mara giving you a second chance you swim to the surface having somehow escaped. Now you must go to ______ camp, cave, or wherever to deal with these fools.

I wanted to point out it appears to not work with the very last version of USSEP (4.3.1). I don't get the startup messages and the additional starts don't appear with the other options.
so im guessing if im using your mod i dont need to also be using the bruma alternate start patch that bruma recommends since you have one in yours already?
Hello, There is an npc in the mod called K'mal. I keep getting crashes with that name in the report, even with me never coming in contact with him. The usual skeleton crashes. Where can I find him?
K'mal, Kazair and their horses are initially disabled. They can be found at the East Empire Trading Company Docks. They are enabled for the start "Prisoner of the Falmer". To enable either of them you would need to enable them by selecting their prid code and typing enable in the console command.
K'mal's ID is XX000EEE
K'mal's horse's ID is XX0014E3
Kazair's ID is XX001784
Kazair's horse's ID is XX00178C
Kazair's bag's ID is XX001752
Replacing XX with the ID for my mod at your end. I hope this is enough information for you to trace the problem at your end, as I am not getting any crashes at my end with them either enabled or disabled.
Thank you, I did the prisoner of the Thalmor start and the crashes are happening near Rorikstead. So probably not related to your mod. Nice work by the way.
So on the LE version of this mod, my Skyrim won't start with this mod installed. I tried starting it with the mod activated, but no matter what the game wont load, as in I cant even get the window to pop up. However with this mod unstalled, my game starts up.
I would've posted this on the LE version, however I've been having a hard time reaching you over on that side, and am hoping you could please help?

Can you or anyone give a list of some of the mods that might change those things? How about any landscape mods like JK Skyrim and ancient lands, will that also cause any incompatibilities?

- Make sure that Alternate Start - Live Another Life - SSE has made a save, or make a save manually.
- Quit to the main menu, and then reload the most recent save.

If using Alternate Start Options for Beyond Skyrim - Bruma SE, you do not need my patch as the guard start option in my mod for Bruma is ignored in favour of the one in Alternate Start Options for Beyond Skyrim - Bruma SE.
