Hello idk if its a physic problem but the breasts are visually reseting after 10 seconds or so. It only happends with smp not with cbpc. It kinda flickers when it resets for 1 frame i feel like.

Disappearing followers with SMP hair attached to skin.  Every so often a follower will just fade out of existence. I had no idea why that might be but after recently updating a stable follower to have SMP hair attached to their worn skin and having her fade out of time right before me, the hair appears to be the common denominator.

It doesn't happen to NPCs other then followers with native SMP hair.  SMP wigs are fine.  There's also no exact action I can think of for what triggers it.  I can simply be looking at a follower doing nothing and they will randomly fade away.  Thankfully it's a somewhat rare occurrence and changing cells will bring the follower back.

I was having an extremely similar issue that turned out to be a corrupt mesh. It exactly matched other people's descriptions of a bug that they attributed to HDT. The follower occasionally turned invisible, only in interiors. I fixed it by re-saving the bad mesh with blender. If you're willing to send me a mesh or follower that causes the issue I’ll test it because I'm curious.

Oh, just noticed this comment.  I was using KS Hairdos with SMP Physics.  Any follower with the hair attached to their worn skin will randomly fade away.  Equipping wigs is fine though.  Sadly, I like to roll with Nether's Follower Framework with his outfit manager and having one default hairstyle that doesn't change works better in general then adding a wig to each outfit.  It's also the only way to get Serana's hair to match the mod that makes her take on/off her hood because if you equip a wig, it will replace the hood.

I'm having a problem with the more recent updates to this mod. When I use the newest version, my cloth physics seem to stretch too far when I move my character, causing clipping and the cloth stretching out behind my character as they move. Its not the tell-tale stretching into the ground that suggests its not installed properly. Its stretching behind my character and going with the movements. Any suggestions regarding what I could do differently?

I'm using the latest 2.2.1 version and the physics work as intended. However in third person whenever I'm using an outfit with physics enabled my character turns around super slowly as opposed to the vanilla 180° snap turn. At first I thought True Directional Movement might have been the problem, but even after disabling said mod the problem persisted. XPMSE32 is up to date. I've tried messing around with the new Fast HDT-SMP config file to no avail.

Edit: I fixed it. Somehow. Set the values of clamped rotations to false which suddenly worked despite not doing anything before. Why is modding like this

every time i launch the game i have to redownload FSMP because hdtSMP64.dll fails to load. Redownloading fixes it for 1 launch of the game but it happens again next time i launch. Any idea what could be causing this?

I had the same problem with the hdtSMP64.dll error after being away for a year, installing SMP-NPC Crash Fix fixed it for me...I'm still having issues with my game recognizing Creation Club and Vortex but at least that part works.

It's also the issue with CBPC. In both cases I get the same message about their dlls. One day everything is fine and in the morning I can't launch SSE anymore. Also, I disabled Steam updates, so that's not the issue.

would this by chance also mess with facial animations considering the performance configs only load a certain character physics at once like some are limited to 5 and other maybe 10 or more? I have this issue and some npcs facial animations will only load at a certain period of time and after I quit the conversation in the middle, their face will literally just freeze in whatever place it chooses and stay that way until I talk to them again. I have attempted literally everything, and this is the only mod I can think of that MIGHT do this

I thought this was a vanilla bug. I'm confident HDT has nothing to do with it.

I had an NPC disappearing fairly frequently only in interior spaces. I assumed it must be the widely reported HDT bug but it continued after I uninstalled FSMP. It turned out that outfit studio had corrupted part of the NPC's outfit like it likes to. I'd never seen these symptoms before but this makes me strongly suspect that the issue has never really been caused by HDT. It wouldn't surprise me if this particular mesh corruption issue is often latent without HDT running though. Another thing is that if this were HDT's fault it ought to be simple to debug and it's been reported for years. I fixed the problem by re-saving the offending armor piece with the blender PyNifly add-on. I tried to use The NIF tools add-on first but it couldn't load the corrupt mesh correctly and had it rigged as a twisted mess. As a note I have fixed a variety of strange issues that didn't necessarily come up in Google searches by re-saving armor in blender.

I have error when i use fsmp. Plugin cant load. Strange that yesterday everything seems to be working normally. This is strange. hdtSMP64 version 200102 (hdtSMP64.dll, Faster HDT-SMP) disabled, fatal error when enabling the plugin .  Thnx noobsoop))). This really helps me. I disable FSMP MCM. Now everything works fine

I have a similar situation as you, while I found that it's the config.xml broken (I don't know why).
I reinstalled the FSMP MCM to get the .xml file fixed, and the error didn't occur anymore.
So perhaps you don't need to disable the MCM.

Hey there! I'm on Skyrim 1.6.640, and when I open up the FOMOD for FSMP 2.1 or 2.1.3, it's greyed out and won't let me select a Skyrim version.

I went back and tried 1.46, 1.50.7, and 1.50.9- They gave me a DLL error.
"A DLL Plugin has failed to load correctly. If a new version of skyrim was just released, the plugin needs to be updated. Please check the mod's webpage for updates.
hdtSMP64.dll: disabled, fatal error occurred while loading plugin."

    Please advise?

I have this issue as well, on 1.6.640, have that selected in the FOMOD for FSMP, but upon starting the game the hdtSMP64.dll has a fatal error and recommends I don't start the game.

Edit: Good luck with fixing this, contacted an admin on their discord and was simply told "Get a real mod manager" as a fix, and that's it.

It has nothing to do with which mod manager you use ... I'm still trying to find a solution

Are you using the FSMP MCM mod? I know this is very weird but deactivating that one fixed the issue of the hdtSMP64.dll being detected as incompatible, no need for an oder version of Faster SMP, at least on my end.
If after that the game crashes on launch then this mod may be worth trying, it was for me.
Downgrading after the last official updates definitely breaks something, nothing of this happened before.

OMG it works! I just deactivate the FSMP MCM and SKSE won't disable hdtSMP64.dll anymore!
While later I found that it's the config.xml from FSMP MCM just broken, which can be fix by reinstall it.
Now I can start the game again without uninstall anything.
      THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
