The joy of receiving a letter from the Bard College was short-lived. "Congratulations, you have been chosen to study in Solitude for the next semester!" was written with an eloquent script. But the cold truth had already crept inside their mind: they could never afford a proper house, and what would the other students think if they slept outdoors like a beggar?
Then, a perfect opportunity presented itself: an affordable apartment right beside the college, called The Alley Nook!
