Using vokrii version 3.8.2 and odin and vokrii odin compatibility patch, it does not change anything. Actual armor rating and perk description. Maybe due to odin doing something on flesh spells?
I use this with Vokrii 3.8.2 and Odin + the official compatibility patch. Neither Odin nor the compatibility patch should edit the same records as this mod.
These are just simple record overrides so if the changes aren't being reflected in-game then something else is editing the same records. Try moving this to the very end of your load order to confirm nothing is conflicting with it.
Could I get some more info on this? What isn't working and what did you try? And, of course, make sure this mod is loaded after Vokrii.
I just pushed an update which brings it up to date with the changes in Vokrii 3.8.0, but I didn't see anything that would cause it to have stopped working. I tested with 3.8.2 and it seemed to be working as intended.
Basically, the perk descriptions don't change from standard Vokrii and don't seem to have any affect even though Mod is installed. Obviously something went wrong - will just reinstall all my mods again.
If you are still having trouble getting it to take effect, make sure the ESP is loading last after every other ESP, including any patches or conflict resolution you have in your load order. If it works properly after moving it, then something in your load order is overwriting the same records. The only records it updates are the changes listed in the description so you should be safe to leave it last, but if you want to move it back you will need a conflict resolution patch to make sure the changes are getting through.
Found a weird interaction with Smithing's padding and your mod. I have the Sorcerer's Robes perk which only requires me to wear a robe for it to function according to the description, I wear robe + padding but the perk only works if I unequip the padding but won't if I equip the padding. Is this intentional? I understand if it is though for balance reasons.
Yeah, this is intentional. These adjustments do retain some of the original restrictions still, just loosened a bit. Armor padding effectively counts as you wearing that type of body armor and will disable the Sorcerer's Robe perk (but allows it to enable the relevant armor perks).
I had downloaded this a while ago. So far this has been great and enables a perfect level up to mid game character build system with Iron/ Studded combo that stays true to the Dovahkiin concept art. In some situation swapping Studded for Iron etc. Of course both from a visual perspective and practicallity this works for Scaled/ Steel too. The reason its practical is also due to mod list and how enhanced the whole combat/ encounter rpg experience can become depending on the load order. In many cases starting light while traveling with survival mods and being mobile in combat becomes perfect until you build up. Meanwhile someone can try to focus on alteration armor spells too to enhance his survivability which also prepares magic perks for later. It gives me the chance to focus on a wider perk distribution for different purposes and leveling side perks for future Guilds and content. After Apocrypha one can finaly decide on final end game build. I found i have more fun that way.
The 3 piece benefit is applied by default. Keen Senses and Face of Death just allow you to remove the helmet and be considered fully armored (remaining 3 pieces would still need to be light or heavy, respectively).
So would this allow me to, if I am using a clothing or robe, get the (Light/Heavy) Armor bonus if I am wearing 3 other pieces of armor; Helm, Greves, and boots, or even the padding added by Vokrii?
Wearing armor padding underneath robes does count towards being fully armored and can be used to activate the light and heavy armor perks while wearing a robe or clothing. However it will disable the alteration robe perks as those require the character to have no armor on the body in addition to the robe/clothing requirement.
Wearing a robe or clothing on the body with 3 light or heavy armor pieces (helm, gauntlets, boots) will not activate the light or heavy armor perks because without an armored body the character is not considered fully armored.
Thank you for pointing that out! Sorcerer's Robes was not included in 1.0.0 but I have uploaded update 1.1.0 which includes Sorcerer's Robes and Force of Will. :)
