VRIK Update! As of VRIK Version 0.8.2 Werewolf Body for VR.esp is no longer needed! You can safely disable it and save an .esp slot in your load order. Just the meshes and skeleton are needed, and no patches are necessary for werewolf overhauls anymore! :)
If it is ALOT of clipping, chances are something is overwriting the skeleton.nif or the werewolf race entry. Check for conflicts or put WBfVR lower in your list. If there's no conflicts and you still have clipping, it may be caused by other edits made by your skeleton mods. See the Bugs section for possible solutions!
If there is just a little bit of clipping on your face, you installed the selfie mode version and need to adjust your VRIK settings to compensate. See this picture:

Help, I'm an invisible werewolf! D:
You have a werewolf mod installed that enables the weight slider. WBfVR doesn't like this. Figure out which mod it is and disable the weight slider. If using Tamaska Werewolf for NPCs but NOT for yourself (Eg. you picked a werebear option), the FOMOD didn't auto-install the patch to disable Tamaska's weight slider. You can get this patch separately from Tamaska Werewolf's mod page, under optional files. If you did select TW in the FOMOD, be sure WBfVR is loading AFTER and overwriting TW.
My VRIK holsters keep disappearing! >:/
It's a bug on the VRIK side that's beyond my comprehension. :( Please wait patiently until werewolf is officially added to VRIK. It's purely cosmetic and holsters will still function as normal. They come back on their own eventually, or you can toggle their visual setting on and off in VRIK settings to get them back immediately.
Will this fix the CTD caused by Schlongs of Skyrim when transforming in and out of werewolf form? That's honestly all I care about. I don't even wanna be a werewolf but the companions require it to finish the storyline.
Wanted to make a patch for Scrab's overhaul Nightmare Night. was wondering if there was any chance you could walk me through what is needed to make one.
hey! I play on the Librum wabbajack modpack, and i crash every time i try to transform. I've tried enabling and disabling patches and options in the installer, disabling some werewolf related mods in the modpack, and i can't seem to get it to stop crashing. Can anyone help me?
Great Mod and everything works beautifully. The only issue (and I already posted on Growl too) is there seems to be an issue with animations locking the player out of abilities. I got ragdolled a few times from dragons and it locks out the ability to howl or transform back that Growl introduces.
Also, I am able to feed but the animation doesn’t play and it instead just instantly consumes the body and that’s it. Usually you can just wait and lose werewolf form and it resets when you turn back so it’s not that bad.
This one was a dumb experiment I tried to see what would happen so it’s not a gamebreaking bug but if you mine while in werewolf form (since Growl lets you have more interactions in werewolf form) it causes the same animation problems as the top but your attacks don’t register on enemies. No one is trying to mine as a werewolf so I just wanted to point this out if you feel like this bug could occur from anything other than mining.
Finally, I loved in your mod that power attacks can toss enemies which makes you feel so badass in VR. Growl turns this off however but it’s an easy Xedit change for werewolf race power attacks (adjust Knockdown for Power Attack flagged attacks) if anyone wanted to keep the power toss.
Using Xedit (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/164) pull up WBfVR and then go to Race -> Werewolf Beast Race.
From there, scroll down till you see "Attacks (sorted)" and that will be all the attacks werewolves can do. I went to each one that was flagged as "Power Attack" under "Attack Flags (sorted)" and set the "Knockdown" to 5. I did it with all of them because I'm not sure how the game registers which Power Attack is which in VR. If you want to be insane about it 15 will actually launch enemies a few hundred meters.
Do keep in mind that this adjustment adjusts the power attack for ALL Werewolves so you'll get smacked by a werewolf if you're fighting one (which is so badass to get smacked far away and get back up to bum rush them) but you'll end up with the ragdoll issue I stated above that will make you unable to howl or transform back. I usually just do the in game wait and it'll turn off after an hour.
Hey I don't know if any one can help me but everything works great but when I transform my head is completely invisible my body is there with just a tuff of hair on my neck and I'm not sure what to do or what's effecting it
IIRC theres 2 options when installing, one doesnt have a head model if you dont plan to use any 3rd person view options, or one with the head if you do. reinstall with the version with the head should fix it :)
hey i am checking to add manbeast to FUS and i saw that werewolf body has several conflicts with it - even though i used the patch. I think you need to revisit it. I will make my own updated patched version which i can also send you if you want. hit me up on discord my username is cangar
Hey, sorry for the late reply! I sent a friend request on discord, can't seem to figure out how to DM without friending, silly discord. my username is kenza.sj for discord~ If you'd like to share the patch that would be great! I've been to busy for modding lately so I haven't been keeping up with updates. @.@
My last post did not send so I'm sending again I found my fix! I'm using growl, this mod, XP32 and wyre bash. I was having the werewolf model freak out and be third person, Hopefully my fix helps you guys Install this mod using the XP32 option and your Mod Organizer left pane should have XP32 ON TOP of THIS MOD so it is overwriting XP32. For the Mod Organizer right pane, your load order should look something like this (at least mine does and I fixed it this way) XPMSE.esp Growl - Werebeasts of Skyrim.esp ====And then your mods that have to go at the bottom==== DynDOLOD.esp Occlusion.esp Synthesis.esp Bashed Patch, 0.esp ====Then, under your bashed patch, put THIS mod below and put it in your overwrite folder so it gets put under the bashed patch no matter what==== Werewolf Body for VR.esp Doing this fixed my problem so I hope it helps somebody
Is there any way to get a fix for left-handed mode? The camera is positioned far behind the head. I tested in right handed mode and the camera is where its supposed to be and everything is working fine. Then as soon as I switch back to left-handed mode the camera switches too. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
