I was struggling with a missing texture bug, only to find I had this installed instead of SMIM. I read the title over and over and never noticed the 2nd "Improvement Mod" lol.

Huh, didn't your Real Rabbits HD meshes used to have shell textures? I don't see an option in the installer for it

Th genpullchain01.nif is not included in the QA patch. Does it need an update or should this mod's mesh overwrite that one?
Also the latest QA update includes updated animal rings meshes. I think those meshes need to be patched.

Could you please add/improve the following pullchains, too?

    • norpullchain01.nif
    • genpullchainanim01.nif
    • norpullchainanim01.nif

You only improved genpullchain01.nif which now has a different chain than the ones mentioned. This leads to inconsistancies in looks.

Ah, the rare person who uses this mod without SMIM. I could probably just take the ones from SMIM for this mod.

I am actually using SMIM :D
But looking into the nifs with NIFScope the chains look different.

EDIT: okay, the path to the chain texture is different. Maybe a texture mod is overwriting Dungeons\Metalwork01.dds

EDIT2: Found it. Pfuschers Skyrim 202X 9.0.1 - Other overwrites this texture.  SMIM uses the texture "textures\smim\architecture\whiterun\metalwork01_drawbridge.dds" in the NIF, but your mod uses the metalwork one.
Therefore the metal chain looks different. Maybe you can change it back to keep consistancy?

Yeah, the issue is that SMIM has a habit of duplicating textures from the base game and then slightly changing the colour or such and saving it elsewhere. Because I don't want to make my mod dependent on SMIM, I'll just add SMIM's chains with the texture I'm using.

Hi, would you consider making torchpermanent01.nif compatible with Smoking Torches and Candles? The latter overwrites it and makes it use old model.

My mod does not contain that mesh. Is this to do with SMIM? If so, this would be something to ask the creator of STaC for, not me.

do we need the patch even tho in the dynamic things altenative bos says it doesn't need any patches, i.e. is this  mod's patch for the non BOS version?

I'm having a strange issue with RiftenRWDoorSpecial01 and I was hoping to get some help. It seems like it's using the mesh from this mod, but I can't find the texture that corresponds to it. Any ideas?

Have you checked if this 'bug' is still present without this mod? I suspect it would be.

I have now, and it is present without the mod. My apologies for the post here. It seems like the issue is that door is pulling textures from multiple files and I have those mismatched with texture mods. I'm not very experienced with all this, so thank you for the help.

Does this mod contain the edits/fixes included in the Misc SMIM fixes mod for the riften door mesh?

no matter which version of the real rabbits HD patch i use, the hanging rabbits are vanilla, not even using the SMIM textures or meshes. i've tried reinstalling all 3 mods (SMIM, this mod, real rabbits hd), tried a fresh game, but neither has worked. has anyone else had a similar issue and can advise? i know the hanging rabbits won't have the fluffy shell texture - the issue is that they don't seem to be being affected by any texture other than the vanilla one.

Same problem here. I can't seem to figure it out.

EDIT: I found a perfect working solution. Don't use the Wisemans fixes patch. Something is wrong with that patch. Download the mods SMIM Hanging Rabbits Shell Textured and Pfuschers HD Rabbit.

      Install in this order:
      1) HD Rabbit by Pfuscher (This will provide the base textures for the hanging Rabbits, Let SMIM Improvement mod overwrite its mesh)
      2) SMIM Improvement Mod (Check Real Rabbits HD, Uncheck Wisemans Fixes Patch)
      3) Smim Hanging Rabbits Shell textured (This has a combined version for Real Rabbits HD and Wisemans Flora Fixes. Overwrite everything from SMIM Improvement Mod.)
      4) Real Rabbits HD by FadingSignal (This uses BSAs and can go anywhere. This provides all the textures and shell effects for live rabbits)

This should cover everything. Hanging rabbits should be covered
