About this mod

This INI file simply allows the correct use of the TARGET LOCK features of True Directional Movement (T.U.M.) with Improved Camera (must be previously installed ). Without the correct settings, casting magic attacks with flames and other spells will aim at the ground instead of aiming at the locked target!

Guys, of course it is necessary to have both mods installed :) then you have to replace the INI file coming with the original Improved Camera mod with the one of this mod. You can also get the same result by tweaking the ini settings by yourself, please don´t ask me which exactly  ´cause I don´t remember (seriously). If you are curious simply compare the original ini with mine (also see sticky post in comments).


Update 1.2 : new customized INI files
this update brings 2 separate versions:

  • Vanilla - keeps the standard arms when in first person (FP) while fixing the proper target-lock on in 3d person;
  • Simon73´s Cut - features additional customization, specifically when in first person (FP) you´ll see the arms of the 3d person (TP) view - in other words, the arms use the same animations and in case you use ENB, they will look better with effect such as subsurfacescattering, shaders etc. . I have kept the vanilla view only for the FP bow aiming. When sitting, the body becomes invisible to avoid clipping and other annoying issues, especially during the opening scene (yep, the prisoners carriage scene, i still prefer the vanilla start on all the rest :D ).

Why the custom settings? Because I have installed Improved Camera especially to have the same combat animation and poses of the third person, with animations like Smooth compbat non combat there are big differences between the visuals and this was very disappointing to me.

Please remember that some animation will not work outside the 3d person, this is a limit of I.C. (till further notice).
