Name: Template NPC 1.0Mod

Language: English

Current Version: 1.0

Author: cmdrspockncc1701

Brief Overview: A vanilla NPC male, no mods required. Intended to be customized and altered according to your needs and requirements. Place it in Skyrim via
Creation Kit and re-save it as a new mod. The Player-potential NPC follower relationship has been established in the mod.

Have you ever made a fabulous NPC mod and added it to the world- only to discover that your creation was unresponsive and no follower
dialogue appeared? Or you tried duplicating a game actor and it ran away because of its default scripts? This one is nothing like that-
it’s a vanilla NPC with a basic and functional player-NPC relationship established. And it won’t refuse to interact with you or avoid you.
This is a vanilla NPC with no mod requirements. It can be installed in your mod organizer app (Mod Organizer 2 recommended but not required),
then opened in Creation Kit, customized, added to the game world, and then re-saved as a new and functional follower.
The mod appears as AATemplateNPC in the Actor section of the Object Window in Creation Kit, but the actor is not added to the world.
The choice as to where to put it is up to you, the modder using this resource.NOTE:
When you rename the NPC and change its ID, make sure to use the correct ID in the relationship dialogue box.
This is one of those details that comes back to haunt you quickly.

Q: Why did you make this mod this way?
A: Because I got tired of making NPC follower mods that just stood there unable to interact because of mistakes made while making it in Creation Kit,
and because it’s so basic and fundamental, the player-NPC relationship could have been established easily and efficiently by a wizard in Creation Kit.

Q: Why no name for the NPC?
A: So that you can name the NPC.

Q: Why a male Nord?
A: I Clicked on anyone at random and got him. I don’t even remember who and don’t care. Like I said, make the NPC what you want it to be.

Q: Why not a female character?
A: I left the choice up to you. And that’s the beauty of it- Make the NPC be whatever you want, place it where you want, name it whatever you want.

Q: Hey! He doesn’t have any weapons!
A: Give him whatever you want.
