Mod doesn't work correctly for me. Not only do they not have elf ears, but all of Racemenu's additional sliders no longer appear. The original sliders also change nothing.
OMG you are an actual genius. I've been looking for something like this for so long. Is there any chance you're thinking about doing a Maormer race expansion as well? I havent actually seen an SSE version of Maormer which is pretty sad seeing as theyre really really cool :(((
!!!!!!! I've been trying to figure out how to do this for Reachman SSE (or any Forsworn custom race) I'm still willing to learn to myself if I can be pointed in the right direction but obviously if you have the time or energy to do this... idk i'd sell my soul lol
Well the process goes as follows: Duplicate the base race from CotR in SSEEdit. Then, rename the duplicate. After that, replace the race stats and skills with that of the mod you are converting from. Finally, make sure the body and face meshes and textures are good in the Creation Kit.
Sorry missed a couple of steps. There is a config file in CotR called races in the Meshes/actors/character/facegenmorphs/racemenu.esp/ folder. Open it and add your race to the bottom like this: 00DZS_SnowElfRace = sliders\Trixter.ini 00DZS_SnowEfRaceVampire = sliders\Trixter.ini That will fix the sliders ;)
I have for sure thought about it. Keep them eyes peeled ;) I wanted to test my limits and the Half-Dragons did that for sure so I think I could handle it. Reception has been great so I'm adamant to put out more.
That having been said...I'm getting some pretty nasty neck seams. Is there a specific order the mods have to be loaded in, or some restriction on skin texture replacements?
Oof I remember fixing it once and then it reappearing in my games. I believe it was either load order or bc of the fair skin cotr textures. You should use the normal skins.
Eyyy, that's probably what the problem was! I was using UNP. Thanks!
Maybe putting both CBBE and UNP options would help folks? Just a thought.
Edit: Nope, still no dice over here. The eyebrows don't seem to be displaying correctly, either. I've tried disabling the Snow Elf High Poly Head patch (nope), disabling the main CotR (still nope and kills a bunch of eye and eyebrow options)...
I did notice that there doesn't seem to be a 'femalehead_1' file in the textures folder, for what it's worth. Maybe that's part of the problem here?
Are you sure that you overwrote the UNP files? It might not be loading properly. Try replacing the files in the UNP folder with mine. Also some of the eyebrows don't work, but some do!
this is really awesome, i'm glad someone is finally tackling this idea. I would love to see this mod converted to cotr if possible, https://etherealmod.wordpress.com/2018/08/06/succubus-race-sse/

For some reason it uses that skin when installed instead of the skin mod from CoTR. Would you be able to check what the problem would be?
Thanks.
Edit: It also doesn't seem it use the skins from CoTR but rather the default ones or others that are installed (like Bijin).
