ah thanks so much for this! i have complete crafting overhaul which modifies vanilla torches so the standard infinite torch mods don't work with them. sure i could try and fix it myself using modding tools but i'm kinda terrible at it! appreciate the work!
Does not work. I'm using anniversary edition, and none ''adventure's torch'' ID appears when I search for help torch. Using game torchs also do not last more than 4 minutes.
Newbie question: is there a way to make the radius even bigger? like go in and change a number somewhere??? i like the infinite torch idea but i think if the radius was bigger i could see even more at the dead of night
EDIT: I FOUND OUT HOW AND IM LEGIT SO EXCITED RIGHT NOW. apparently its as easy as using the sseedit thing. if anyone wants to see: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/articles/88/? the only difference is u look for THIS mods torch name (adventurers torch)
I have a bit of experience modding, so I do know how to add a crafting recipe and how to make merchants carry an item.
Adding a crafting recipe is pretty straightforward if you can find decent instructions, so I'll just direct you here.
Making merchants carry an item is also pretty easy, if perhaps a bit less intuitive. The game uses "leveled lists" (see the UESP page) to determine what loot you find. A leveled list is essentially just an item pool, except that each item in a given leveled list is associated with a minimum player level; only items with levels less than or equal to the player's level can be randomly selected. However, these leveled lists also apply to certain things other than loot, such as merchant inventories. If you add an item to, say, the leveled list of ingot-type items, then (once you reach the item's associated level) that item can appear anywhere where you might find an ingot. That includes merchant inventories. I wouldn't recommend classifying your torch as an ingot, of course. Just pick what seems like the most appropriate leveled list and add an entry for your torch. If you don't want it to be level-restricted, just set the minimum level to 1.
Perchance have you enabled the mod in both the "mods" section and the "plugin" section on vortex? after removing it from my vortex, and reinstalling, testing all three versions, all of them work for me personally.
I'm deeply sorry but unfamiliar with converting the files to ESL, let me mess around and see if I can figure it out, if not you are more than welcome to use the files and convert yourself, again, this mod is nothing ground breaking so mess with it as you see fit.

You should have all the available options in video, to show us what each option does.

"Item 16000D62 not found for parameter ObjectID"
I'll try reinstalling the next time I boot up the game and report back.
It works perfectly, BTW. You have my thanks and endorsement.
Thanks
