Hello to you guys from the Modpocalypse team. I have a simple question regarding NPC visual changes when using this mod.
So, let me get this straight: this mod here (the "Resource" one) by itself DOES NOT CHANGE the appearance of any NPCs around the world, correct? Am I safe to assume I shall ONLY modify their appearances when I download and istall one of the several side-requirements offered? For example, if I get "Immersive Wenches", then, only the wenches will display your appearance overhaul?
I'm asking because I wouldn't want to lose the appearance of several of my Bijin NPCs I got installed. I appreciate the constant work you guys are putting into this project. GG!
As this mod doesn't appear to have a plugin (.esp) there should be no need to have USSEP....as without a plugin it can't require a master. Even for mods that do require USSEP as a master, all you gotta do is find a blank .esp online and download it and rename it "Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch" to make it a dummy esp (or make said dummy esp in the CK if you have and/or know how to use CK which I don't). I have a couple mods that require USSEP as a master and I just use my empty dummy plugin and it works fine.....but like I said, this doesn't even need that.
Bro, you are an official God of Skyrim. Now, that you are the ninth divine, the Thalmor will hunt you down. Excellent work, man. Now the people look great and the girls are no longer ugly from the outside.
Modpocalypse's NPC Overhauls works perfectly, I recommend using EasyNPC to merge actor visuals with other mods that touch actor records. =) (aka don't blame your lack of skill on these awesome mod authors..)
I usually look at the images of any NPC Overhauls before I install them to get some idea of what it'll look like.. Though even if you have generated mugshots/face previews they won't fully represent what your NPCs will look like ingame. I'd recommend comparing your npcs ingame with different EasyNPC outputs instead of trusting face previews. =)
Thx invino! Will use that next time I'm patching NPCs as I've found several NPCs that I wished I had mugshots for to compare with! xD Mugshots are more useful than I made them sound in my previous post as I simply use Modpocalypse's NPCs as base before adding others. ^^
wild tease adding the resource file here for physics on V4 when there is no V4... or is there?!!! folks google modpocalypse v4 ... you're welcome. modpoc with hair physics is the best leap in NPC appearance of all time
Safe to say this mod has been abandoned, no support at all for what i see below, uninstalling unfortunatelly get infinite loading not even enters in the menu screen, sadly i was eager to watch some of the npc's of this mod ingame they look really cool in the pics.
infinite loading means there's a mod conflict, not that this mod doesn't work. But if you're lazy af and you want an easier way to patch your NPCs, then let me show you...
This xEdit script let's you patch mods automatically. How to use it?
Drop the script in the xEdit scripts folder
Open xEdit on MO2
Disable whatever other NPC replacers you have to avoid conflicts. It's supposed to be used for 1 NPC replacer/overhaul at the time or multiple NPC replacers that doesn't touch the same NPCs, for example: Northbourne's only male replacers and Bijin NPCs, or Pandorable's Male NPCs and Anuketh's NPC Replacers. IMPORTANT NOTE: the NPC overhaul you want to patch (in this case, Modpocalypse) must be loaded at the bottom of your load order so the script can properly patch everything.
Right clic on your mod and then clic on "Apply script"
There in the script list choose the one called "Create Compatibility Patches" and a window with all the options available will pop-up, just leave it with the default options, and then ok, let the script do it's job.
Done, you have done all the compatibility patches you need for whatever NPC overhaul mod you have.
I personally use the script for myself and saves me a lot of time when it's about patching mods, and anything that needs a correction in those patches I do it manually, but generally it's a very precise mod. I personally feel it's very a underrated script because in my case it has saved me a lot of time.
(I copied this from my own comment in Additional Dremora Faces with just few tweaks, deal with it).
I'll be honest with you: I have no idea idea, I've never used EasyNPC.
The rules for the script patcher are simple: if EasyNPC creates a plugin so the changes you made will be forwarded, then I suggest you to load that individual plugin only on SSEEdit and then run the patcher. This is because the patcher will prioritize the last plugin (the highest priority one), but I noticed that sometimes tries to patch an NPC's appearance records (like the hair color or tint masks), so I have no idea what would happen if you load an edited NPC from EasyNPC.
Like I said: if EasyNPC creates an standalone plugin for the edited NPC I suggest you to run the patcher with that single plugin with your other mods (without any other NPC Overhaul) if you want to avoid any issues, outside of that I would be lying to you with other information.

Any idea how to fix it?
Thanks for your time and effort:)

(with the ending celebration): The Automatic Compatibility Patch Creation Script!!
Yes, it was made by ModpocalypseGaming too.

What if you run them all through EasyNPC first and then run it on the patch it created?
Would that work fine?
