   Would be cool if this is placed inside helgen maybe a chest just after ralof/hadvar cut your ropes so canonically this became your first armor

      Yes it's a standalone set. Right now, you have to use the console or AddItemMenu mod to get it. Or smithing, it's standard Iron and Studded, so it should be easy to craft even from start.

   Thank you! It has always bugged me that the pauldron was on the wrong side from the trailers and artworks.

   Is the moved pauldron really the only change? The pieces still have the same name, type and stats as in vanilla?

      Yes, it's just the Pauldron that is moved, everything else is vanilla.
