The Mod index shown on MO2 may not same as the index in-game. To get correct xx, go to game use additem to get something from the esp of Thunderchild, then type help /*name of the item you got from esp*/you will see the item id. the first 2 digits is just what you need. For me, the index in MO2 is 34, but in game it is 35
This is a big saver to Thunderchild for me. I never liked how the mod's shouts were obtained, because I felt like it completely misunderstood the lore surrounding the Thu'um and the Dragonborn.
I discovered a problem where I can't meditate in my current playthrough, so I'm opting to try this mod. I'm headcannoning it as my dragonborn absorbing the knowledge from Alduin.
Never mind, I fixed it all! The mod was a buggy so I downloaded yours to help me unlock the shouts. The door is now unlocked without console commands,I love you now.
Its kind of a pity that it cant be used like most other bat files E.G as in if i want lots of smithing materials all i do is type in "bat smithing" and behold i have my materials, it would be so much better if you could just type....."bat thunderchild" and it unlocks them all, but hey-ho, nevermind, we do it the way of the modder, thanks for making the effort with this mod.
Once you download the file, you can rename the bat file to literally anything you like. Does not have to be as the mod author intended. For example... I renamed mine to "Reborn", went in game and typed "bat reborn". There! All shouts.
Probably should be a little more specific about how and where these .txt files need to go once the xx are changed. The Skyrim Directory or the Data File? I appreciate the time you took to create this but if you're going to post a mod on the nexus it should probably have step by step, and clear directions as to what needs to be done to correctly implement the mod or files. Also you do know that the mod order number and the index number are two completely different things, so I think you should clarify specifically whether or not we need the load order number or the index mod number for Thunderchild.
Apologies, I don't understand how clearer my instructions can be. It's super simple. Ya just change the xx to the 2 digits that thunderchild has as its first two digits, and put the files into skyrim directory. Nothing really to be confused about, I think.
It will go where all bat files go, straight into the main directory where the SkyrimSE.exe is, just copy & paste them there, that's where all my bat files are, and they work perfectly.
You ask if the bat goes into the skyrim directory or data folder (there is no "data file"), while the author has already told you it goes into the SKYRIM DIRECTORY. How is that so hard to understand.
It just dont works. I have searched the shouts in the console and have tried this and it just dont works too. the console just says no it doesnt exist.
