others would tell you to port it yourself via creation kit but im just going to let you know not to bother, b/c even if you do the open kit > set active file > save > quit stuff (and all the settings edits you need to do to make that possible) it's not going to work: the game just ignores the file and dumps the shout in your inventory when you finish the horn quest anyway.
I would have to check. With that fix I mostly forwarded records. But that fix that has a patch I doubt is used much anymore. These patch need to be looked at a bit, to be fair, since it has been a bit since I modded Skyrim.
Yes, it does, it changes only the dialogue topic conflicts, which were not changed with its update. I just double-checked to make sure. Keep in mind this patch does not touch the word walls, it's just a slightly modified port of the original Thunderchild patch.
I actually dropped Thunderchild in order to playthrough the new Wyrmstooth, but just wanna say thanks for putting this out, there were lots of people wanting a compatibility patch on the Wyrmstooth post tabs ^^
This patch is for the dialogue topics, the patch for getting only one type of Phantom Shout is this one: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/32183?tab=description (which currently does not seem updated unfortunately).
I did a test with this patch from Oldrim (converted myself) https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/106983 And it seems that is working somewhat ok, I get the shout after the horn quest but the world wall in Wyrmstooth don't give me any shout, so at least I don't get double shouts, what are those dialogue conflicts between those two mods you're talking about? I thought the conflict was the double shout.
I state again, this patch does not touch Wyrmstooth Word Walls and you will still receive the double shouts. This patch fixes only the Dialog Topic Conflicts between Thunderchild and Wyrmstooth, that mess up how the shouts display when used by player and npcs, like the original patch shipped with the LE version of Thunderchild.
The patch you linked should solve both the dialogue topic conflicts and provide only the Thunderchild shouts, according to what the author wrote.
Oh my God I was just coming here to say the same thing. Not a Thunderchild user, but I was going to download to run the timer out and endorse, gotta keep the patches high on the endorsement list ^-^

I really did not know how to put a picture for a small patch, so it was either something minimalistic or something for the lolz.
