I tested this mod several time. I feel like healing spells cost way too much mana.

With a new character, i am currently forced to reach level 2. From there, i must invest 1 perk point into restoration only to be able to use the starter temporary healing spell. This is way too severe,

Just like oak-flesh, the first alteration spell, it should only cost 44 mana to use the starter temporary heal.

    Can i suggest 2 mods.

first: limited jump: play by the bandit rule.

One thing i feel is missing is a mod that put limits on jumping.

In skyrim, mobs don't jump at all so they become easy to exploit: i'm sure you noticed that already. Putting limits on jumping based on stamina consumption is not enough since while you will be forcing enemies to move around, you can wait and recover enough stamina to repeat that same exploit again. This simple exploit allows players to kill a large group of melee mobs so easily.
Even games like darksouls take away jumping: allowing you to only jump off cliffs like in zelda. With all those darksouls-like mods that we have, i'm surprise we still have nothing that would put hard limits on jumping at all.

    So

1- jumping should cost stamina, but it should also put a large delay on stamina regen to only discourage players from jumping at all.
-Think of it like a penalty: you not supposed to jump in skyrim no more: play by the melee bandit rules. At 0 stamina, you can't jump no more or the lower your stamina is, the lower the height of your jump becomes.

2- While out of combat, stamina cost on jumping is normalized.
-My current stamina set-up is hardcore and so i wish stamina consumption while out of combat would only apply for sneaking, sprinting and jumping. We still should be able to maneuver around this open world like we used to in vanilla.

3- big fan of mount & blade here. When you jump, as soon as you land, you should not be able to move for a whole second or more.
-Obviously, this was done to prevent jump-spamming. I know it's not immersive, but it's necessary.

2nd suggestion: Limited sprint: play by the bandit rules.

Same logic as above: even with the most hardcore AI overhaul like revenge of the enemies, enemies will rarely ever sprint: making sprinting for the player feel like cheating.

1- while out of combat, sprinting is normalized:
-so you can maneuver around the world normally.

2- the lower your stamina, the slower you become while sprinting only: rendering sprint just as useful as running at some point at worse.

3- alternative to point 2, if you don't want slow down, sprinting should become a commitment rather than something you can spam at will without repercussion.
-That means, while sprinting, it takes a whole second or more to stop sprinting. That is in order to prevent sprint spamming just to save yourself. This turns sprinting into a more strategic maneuver rather than something you can use to cheat your way to victory when ever you feel overwhelmed.

    ...

And that's it. There's already a mod that takes care of swimming. immersive swimming. While you dive, you lose stamina constantly, even when you stand still in the water i think. As soon as you reach 0 stamina, you start losing HP
-This mod is good in order to stop you from using the river in order to safe yourself from the enemies who won't follow you there to kill you.

    ...

Finally, my true goal is to make skyrim combat against enemies feel like pvp where the enemies become just as hard and as smart as the players from most online pvp games: making it feel like you have to try yourself everytime even when you are up against a single enemies. I wish to be able to exploit my way to victory while still making the game feel as difficult as possible.

      Thanks for all the ideas.
      I agree with your idea.

I have no knowledge of scripts so I can't implement everything.
Based on your ideas, I created mods to the extent possible.

OMG, thanks for responding so quick. I think you are the first mod author ever to have taken my suggestion into consideration.

I really appreciate this and this new jump restriction mod is now a must for me.

Man, i love this and your mordhau mod. You take donation? Like, everything i thought about in term of balance, you made them become possible.

I have been looking for so damn long for a mod thats would balance the restoration school as i also thought it was too OP and too easy to use.

I'm glad you like some of my mods.
      I am not soliciting donations.
      Thank you for your kindness.

Imo Bethesda did a good job in balancing magic/potions. If you are not very good in Restoration you will need to cast heal continuously until you restore your hp. Potions on the other hand let you restore hp quickly and without fight interruption.

      That's true.
I'm using zxlice's ultimate potion animation --ZUPA so I didn't notice.
I will add it as a recommended mod in the explanation.
