I agree but maybe the exteriors and interiors would look even better and they would be more immersive to someone, I would really love a wooden version. About the rest, this mod is a must-have, congrats! :)
The new style looks great, interesting and cozy. And I like that it adds a player home as sleeping in the Skaal village always was an issue. I must admit, though, that I am disappointed by the fact that the house does not work for kids. I go to the cellar and the button there does change nothing at all for me. I see the training dummy and the child´s doll on the chest, but the beds are still labeled as adult beds as I can sleep in them. As bringing my kids with me to Solstheim in this playthrough had been my main reason to install this mod, this really is a bummer to me.
Mod works for 100000+ people (and more on Xbox side), so before filing a bug report maybe try some basic troubleshooting on why it's broken JUST FOR YOU.
I have no other mods in the area at all. I have a very short mod list in general. And I am not the only one who experienced this problem either. Scroll down: on 24. June last year another player wrote: "I can’t use beds for adoption, I press the button, the mannequin appears, and the beds remain for companions". How can you be sure whether these 100000+ players who downloaded the mod did try to adopt when 2 players independently from each other report the same problem? Really, I wrote that the mod looks great - I see no reason for you to shout at me.
Edit: And by the way: I did try trobleshooting. I tested it with a test profile with only USSEP and this mod active, no other. And the button still did not work.
I tested the mod and adoption on a vanilla game with just the adoption mod and this and it works. I have no troubleshooting possibilities beyond that because every load order is different and it could even be just some sleep mod that modifies beds or something random like that.
I do not have any sleep mod in my load order, I do not have any behavior mod, I do not have any beds mod. I tested it with just USSEP and this mod and no other mod in my load order. And the button did not change the beds to children beds.
Edit: And now I also tested it - vanilla with only your mod. Button did not change the beds. - vanilla + multiple adoption patch + your mod. Button did not change the beds. - USSEP + multiple adoption patch + your mod. Button did not change the beds.
I tried and yes, after pressing the button I indeed can bring my 2 girls to the house. But it is the same as the other player reported last year: They just stand in the living room next to the fire place and are totally broken. They never go to bed nor do they ever do anything else. They can be talked to, but keep standing in the room.
USSEP is the culprit it is a terrible mod that causes conflicts get rid of it and used scrambled bugs + sse bug fixes + SSE Engine fixes (follow instructions there) if you use SKSE which many do.
Elianora, I love your mods. Would you ever consider adding 4 generic "Skaal Honor Guards" that just watch over the village. Maybe one of the houses can be duplicated as a barracks or they could just stand outside all the time.
Also the main page says not compatible with JK's but I cant find a JK's Skaal Village mod
The mod really diversifies the game, which is nice. Thanks for the work. But what, in my opinion, can be added: - add a cow and (or) chickens. This is a village, after all; - add a double bed to Moruen's house. You can marry Moruen, but she cannot bring you to her house, since there is nowhere to sleep. This error of Bethesda has not been fixed. Too bad.
i don't see how this mod has anything to do with it. it's been stated many times by elianora that this doesn't affect the great hall at all one way or another. assuming you're talking about the window from the inside, i'd look into mod conflicts ( probably lighting mod conflicts) in the great hall cell, via xedit. if it's this way from the exterior...i've no clue. you may be plum out of luck there.

Bless Home doesn't work first, then works after button is pressed.
Mods loaded in the game at the time of testing:

Is this able to be added in mid-game/save?
Thanks
Great mod!
Same here friend! Gotta run that Dyndolod again!
