   For those having issues of wrong facetints, I fixed that by renamin the mod's folder from meshes\actors\character\facegendata\facegeom\female-housecarls.esp to meshes\actors\character\facegendata\facegeom\HearthFires.esm

      you also need another folder called skyrim.esm with the files, but best is to regenerate with ck

   The faces appear to be dark and black anything to change that

      i used the console command (snpcw 100) after clicking on them to fix it

   There seems to be some face gen data missing (the .nif files). It seems to be using the original ones for the males.

      Thanks for this. To be honest I was only aware of the textures folder so I have learnt something new and which has answered a number of puzzling questions for me.
