Ported over from FOM May 2015 Oldrim version, using the Nif Optimizer. (Boy was that convenient)

In this version, ring swapping will not work until the arrival of SKSE.

Please let me know of any issues.

1.06 is up and returns weight to septims. All ingots' and bars' weights are based on real atomic density proportions of a single septim of 60% copper and 40% gold weighing .01. This can be read about in the article on the original Immersive Jewelry.

Article about my original ballad poem pertaining to enchanting boosts is also up.

A readme explaining the crafting and enchanting system is also up.

    Please don't forget to endorse.

Thanks to NovaCameron for catching that the .esp had not been converted by the new CK. New 1.06a is up.

If I don't respond to one of your questions in comments below, it's because the answer is already in the FAQ or front page description.

7/10/2022 - I have been playing myself and the latest versions of SKSE64 not only allow ring swapping, but even player enchanted rings are swapping just fine, with enchantments intact.

7/10/2022 - I haven't encountered any crashes from IJ items or jewelry pieces, but I also ran the latest version of Cathedral Assets Optimizer on all the meshes and textures, which puts everything in BC7, etc.

7/10/2022 - Results of playtesting Immersive Jewelry for its frequent claims of being overpriced and unbalancing the economy:

The readme in place also details the ways to make the economy more immersive and to work with Immersive Jewelry. I have played a character up to level 30 and I have about 125000 septims saved up in bank notes. I have only bought a horse and a few magic books and grand soul gems along the way, but I have been paying smiths for tempering upgrades through Loot and Degradation. At this point, I now must decide whether to spend my savings on a player home with prices multiplied by 5 - Proudspire should be about 125000 now but I have some downloaded player castles that I price at 400,000 or more - or whether to spend them on magical tomes, which have been priced at around 10000 each in shops through Dynamic Item Repricer mod and Kryptopyr's Trade and Barter (fbarter min max 2.0/10.0)

To me it feels like the economy is very realistic so far, and more importantly, I still feel the motivation to loot and sell! I will report more as I advance in levels, all in anticipation of mod updates and releases.

Vortex, when you have overwrites that become a loop. This mode has a permanent place on my load order. One of the best mods out there. The conflicts are probably texture or mesh related basically this mod needs to overwrite most other mods except Gemling Queen Jewellery.

Use old school NNM, which I understand close to 100% lol. Tried Vortex and crap was doing things making simple processes confusing for me.

Whoever thought it was a good idea to implement gold weight needs to be arrested.

Instead of losing your mind, how about you explore what's in the "mods requiring this file" section of the description first? Hope this helps.

Don't know if anybody has this problem but some items like 2 of the 3 rings of power do not appear, was wondering what is happening and if anybody ever found something like this? I have made the installation correctly and have all the files but for some reason those 3 rings don't appear and I also made sure to test with a character that is fully upgraded in blacksmithing and enchanting.

How could I patch a ring added from another mod? it works but currently looks as if it's missing textures.

Textures are mapped within the nifs, so if you changed the directory, that would be one reason they didn't show up.

the jewelry is beautiful, but i very much dislike the septims and them having weight, makes it annoying to get them out of chests without pressing r to get it all out when there are items i dont want in the chest, maybe theres a version without the Gold changes and just the jewelry?

Just go into TESEdit and revert the weight to 0. Takes about a minute and a half.

There are several patches for this. Look for weightless gold mods

so idk if its there and I just didn't see it or what but I have two questions 1 how do I change what slot things are equipped to because I have DSR installed? I know you mentioned what slot things need to be set to I just don't know how to change the slot. 2 should mods such as CBBE or other character model mods be loaded before or after IJ? sorry if I'm stupid or blind, I just didn't see answers anywhere.

Make sure this loads after SkyUI and anything that edits skyui.swf, unless it's one of the newer version of it that incorporates IJ keywords.

I like this mod and what it does a lot, but I'm just the kind of person that gets overloaded easily. As I look into the smithing menu and see thousands of added things and new materials, I just kind of go crosseyed. Is there anything I can do to clean up the list, or disable making the jewelry and just find them?

Maybe a version of the mod that does what Cloaks of Skyrim does and have the crafting recipe bound to having one or one of several books in your inventory so it's not all of everything all of the time?

It's already bound to gems in your inventory. The list you're seeing is only because of what you have; it gets bigger.

CCOR is listed as a required mod because of the functionality it adds to limit the menus.

How does one wear Multiple Rings?
Simply equipping one while having another equipped just switches the "Equipped"-Status.

I like this mod a lot, so I'll run through what I've learned about wearing multiple pieces. Using a UI mod that reveals slot numbers on jewelry items will help make sense of all this.

For the purposes of this mod, you effectively have four ring slots. Each ring in the mod uses one of these. Some of them can use more than one if they are swapped from right to left version; note that swapping a ring actually gives you a different item, for example: the "silver knotwork ring" and the "silver knotwork ring (L)" are two different items that each use a different slot.

Most rings, including the ones you can craft, use the same two default slots. I cannot remember the numbers, so call these R1 and L1. When you swap an R1 ring, you get the corresponding L1 ring. In this way, you can generally only equip two custom enchanted rings, one in R1, the other in L1.

To equip four rings, you need to find special rings that use the other two slots. We'll call these R2 and L2. I believe L2 is special; it's reserved for the Bond of Matrimony. For R2, you will need to find special rings. Some of these are received from quests. I think Muiri's Ring is one of these, but I may be remembering incorrectly. Assuming it is, when you equip Muiri's ring, it goes in R1 by default, but if you swap it for Muiri's Ring (L) you will notice that it moves to R2, not L1.

This is how you generally wear four rings at once. Two custom rings (R1,L1), the BoM (L2), and a bonus ring (R2).

Finally, many of the enchanted ancient Nord rings that you find (for example, there's one that provides +40% magic regeneration) have this property of switching to R2 rather than L1. I like to think of these as little bonuses that help define your character's specialization. Experiment and have fun.

Finally finally, if you are having trouble swapping rings, you generally need to press whatever key would equip to your left hand (i.e., however you would put a dagger or sword in your character's left hand for dual wield) twice. Once to equip, a second time to trigger the swap.

Finally finally finally, it's a secret, but since you read this far I'll share it with you: there are unenchanted rings that swap to R2, including a rare few you can craft. This lets you have three custom enchanted rings, plus the BoM. Try swapping on a variety of rings to find them.

Well explained. And there's also an R3 pinkie ring, but only a couple, like the Silverblood Ring.

Too bad it's not easy to make a ring "swapable" though, masser ring for example... !
