I'm not sure if its the mod or some other stupid mod I have but for some reason I can see the leather scarf thing in first person and it takes up like 20% of my screen. Makes wearing the armor kind of annoying . it is immersive in a special kind of way I suppose.
in the sense that they both got the word ash in them. are you kidding? this is clearly a more refined model and better textures, inspired by dunmer lore they're bound to have similiar traits - this one clearly having more work put into their vision.
you also seem to struggle with how mods work. this is a armor mod. how would it "cLaSh" with magic of ash?
Indeed. Adept armor is a mostly vanilla mashup with some custom details, whereas this armor has been made from scratch. They're only "similar" in that they go for the similar type of aesthetic, which is Dunmer chitin, and of course something you'd find across many Dunmer type armors. This is an armor mod, the other is a magic mod, with some custom gear pieces.
That said, I'd suggest pathing the two mods yourself, so that the custom Ash perks and benefits from Adept will work on these armors, and you can stop using the original armor pieces from the magic mod. Best of both worlds.
Technically, they're both adaptations of a fan-favorite set from Morrowind, and the magic from that mod is thematically linked to the armor. I'm still in favor of a patch/replacer
Yeah, it's kind of a ridiculous question, but no need to be so aggressive about it. For all we know, he might not know much about modding and is just genuinely curious.

A patch would be nice but I just disable the other assets from this mod when I pick up the armor.

I'm excited to try this as I'm always on the hunt for more morrowind type mods, but do you know if there'd be any clashes between the two?

very unecessary comment.
